We're working on setting that up. We need to get everyones cars up and running and inspected. It sounds like everyone is close including myself.

Wow, looks like you have had a few already. I can not say much cause I just cracked #4. If you need someone to get the inspection done in the next couple of days, let me know. I am off Tues and Weds. I am taking my stang to get done and maybe the 7. I know of a place that will pass anything. I am doing a plug change in the 7 to see if that affects how it runs.

So, I am going to start a caravan thread for Nh, Mass and Maine people. If my fellow NH rotorheads want to chime in, do so.

"Good news, good news, good news!" Words well spoken by Rosco P. Coltrane. I made some adjustments to the FD today and she runs like a champ. I am taking her to get inspected tomorrow and then it will be break in time. I wish I had all day just to drive around and put the 500 miles on it. Man I can not wait to see what she will put on the pavement with boost.

Anyway, I will be up for meeting people so get out and lets go.

Foiled again......it appears that I have a MAP sensor problem. PFC is reading the MAP sensor as showing 16lbs of boost. Troubleshooting continues.......

Problem solved.....all related to a vaccum leak. Car runs awesome and is going to boost properly. Now I need to get the 500 miles on it for break in. It is going to be difficult to stay out of the boost for that long.

tworotorguy! I looked at that RX a few days back I was looking into picking it up but I posted about the price on the manch. thread it looks great have yet to hear it run since the battery needed to be jumped so i passed for the time being I am going to go check it tommorow. if the frame is sound I would throw down about 2k for it but idk the engine has about 60-70k on it already about 1 more year and would need a rebuild.

depending on the condition, boriqua might be right about the price, mine is an 1988, and i bought it 6 years ago w/ 92K on the engine, good condition i paid $3000. but id eyeball it all over and under, see if it was beat at anytime during its life, and most important, HEAR it run! well good luck...

Do you want a performance rebuild? Also, I don't think the FC tranny will work with the 13BREW without modification.

fc tranny bolts right up to the 13b for the 13bt the location of starter changes so they do not bolt right up. for the 13btt they do not bolt right in unless you are using a 13bt from fc which is a better tranny than fd. as far as fiding a rebuild 13bt or even 13btt around zill none. but you can get jdm and rebuild yourself with some nice porting. if you want good power on ur fc just go with a jdm 13bt and port it get a hybrid turbo so u can still use original ecu and injector if u want more power than u will need stand alone fuel upgrade and more. so the question is what is ur budget ? and we can go from there.

As of right now my goal is to have a fun all around summer drive car I am not trying to build a crazy 0-100 i want a car to carve corners with and has a good sound. so as far as engine mods i might spend 6-8k total that incluse a single turbo conversion.

pick up jdm motor and upgrade the turbo to a hybrid and change injectors . jdms can be had for 1200 to 1800 depending where u get them with full harness ecu etc. bolt and play. but i would take the time to open it and rebuild and port maybe. if not at least get all the seals in there since this engines sit for a bit. droping a 13bt its not hard at all.

good that it what I wanted to hear. Good to know 13bt swap is not a giant task lol but boriqua if I pick up a JDM motor for it I am deff gonna go with the 3mm apex seal and want to do a street port on it well because with a 3" turbo back ported 13b's sound great. I found this site a little while back http://www.jspecauto.com/catalog_cat...spx?cat_id=106 and I think the 13Bt at the bottom is what I am gonna look into and then finding an aftermarket intercooler
