i wouldn't mind having a mac mini in my car 800 bucks get you a killer computor, can run any pc program and mac. no need to worry about viruses. if you have a iphone you can take it online if know what your doing. i could mount a camera in my car to recored meets and rides. edit it and burn dvd's for every one. make songs in garage band and make sounds tracks for said dvd's. wait this isn't pimp my ride or is it.

i never under stood the whole car pc thing. i can understand it when people use it to have pc gauges and be able to have different tunes saved ect. but besides that whats the point. again never under stood dvd's xbox's ect in car too. remind me too much of ff the kid playing a racing game right befor racing.

heck i wish i could find that bmw that has a projector ,and xbox in it. the made it so the cars steering wheel, brake, gas shifter worked for some racing game. pluse the car was still drivable . the video on you tube showed the car driving around then pulled in to a garage and then bam the project turned on and he was playing a racing game.

make a friend with some one in the japan section and see if they can get what you need. thats how i got some parts for my car. you can cheat the man by not paying cretin taxes be cause it just some one sending a big gift. and depending on the vaule of the dollar when you pay pall them it. you can save more that way

if you want gen i could make you a custom gauge holder, out of fiber glass. id just need a mold of the area you want the gauges mounted to. how many gauges are you going to run. you could also mountthem on you glove box angeled towards you.
theres a **** load of way's you could mount them.

pillar i know 3 can go there could make a pod that goes over you cluster, like on your dash. u could just get a cup to hold the boost. also you could try to find a pod holder that goes over the air bag.

I have a CarPC I will sell. PII, 128MB, 60G, Linksys wireless card, Soundblaster 6ch soundcard, DVD, Opus 90W DC-DC power supply. $250 and its yours. You'd need a touch screen and a 4 channel amp. I had it set up and doing dry runs on my desk. I got burned on two screens and gave up on the project.

i keep justifying to myself that i have a laptop so i really wouldnt need a car pc. but it just seems like a neat idea. i dont think there's any good place to mount the screen in an fc though.
