Meet this month? Weather is getting nicer. Finally started the FD again since winter is over.

Btw, I noticed this thread had an interesting selection of tags.

Does anyone here work for Chaney/hardesty construction? I was at one of their sites the other day and of the 5 cars parked there was a nice RX-8 and a mismatched FC.

Best place would be UPR. Unique performane rotary. Micheal has a few ECU's laying around. Go to face book and search for UPR. He has a page with his contact info and address i think.

Speaking of Corollas, here's a story you guys may appreciate... just something interesting. And there's a chance you might know what I'm talking about if you're on CList a lot.

I think it was the second Saturday of this month, I went with some friends down to DC for the Cherry Blossom Fest. We got back to my place around 5pm and one of the guys were talking about getting a 240 to build a drift car. So we were checking out CL, and I typed in AE86 just for kicks. One turned up, priced $2k, I forget the miles, Anne Arundel County. I messaged the seller as soon as I saw it, but he replied that he already made a deal. The listing was posted at 11am, and I made my response at 5pm. That car got bought hella fast.

Honestly, it was a sad day. But I guess I should save my money for the FD and my daily. Adding another car to that would be pretty costly.

I have heard find parts for AE86s is hard as **** and that most of the aftermarket is custom...but Ken would know more about that since he owns one himself. Congrats though dude I have always wanted an AE86 they are badass little cars.

Oh haha no, I didn't get to buy it. The sale was already made by the time I messaged the guy. Yeah, it was running and everything. It was also in good order, too; just some of the interior was gutted. I was impressed that someone was able to find it off CL that quickly, not even 6 hours passed and it was gone already.

On a completely off note, does anyone go to Maruichi or any other Japanese/Asian market? I'm looking for a place that sells Chu-hi anywhere in the DMV area. I suppose only you guys that have visited Japan know what I'm talking about. I figure it's a shot in the dark asking here, but let me know.

Btw, details for another meet/cookout soon? I missed that last one.

I probably have what you want in my parts car. I'll get a picture of the engine compartment and post it this weekend...
