chris and i were watching wild hogs last night (yes, i know, laaaaaame), and he spazzed over the idea of driving through Nevada, New Mexico, and/or Arizona. he wouldn't know how to handle the lack of cars around him.
on the plus side, i did learn that i CAN lock up the front wheel and it DOESNT woble when you do.
and the part where she cut me off was in the parking lot of giant and she tried to run me into a parked van when i tried to pass her having a hissyfit at a dead stop where she was holding everyone else up

I hate Haynes manuals.
This is for my Firebird:
Section 3, on Engine Dissasembly:
"Remove the bolts holding the UIM on, then remove the UIM. (Refer to section 5)"
Section 5, on Emissions Controls
"Remove the fuel rail, then remove the bolts holding the UIM on, then remove the UIM. (Refer to section 12 for more detail)"
Section 12, on intake manifolds or something, it doesnt have a title
"Remove the UIM with a hammer and a block of wood, after removing the bolts that hold it on. Don't pry against the soft aluminum gasket surfaces or damage may result."
Well, my UIM isnt coming out that easy :P
Time to drop the engine X_x

That's what you get when half the engine is under the car.
And to think you were suggesting to move the Tow truck's engine to under the bed.

Yes, with a HATCH.
The Vanagon is done that way, and it's one of the easiest vehicles to work on.
Tons of room everywhere.
This Firebird has no room anywhere, even with the engine half dissasembled theres STILL no room to do anything.
And this is with a 60 degree V6 in there, imagine if there was a 90 degree v8!

"the auction said quantity 2. There was only one in this box. what is the tracking number for the second box?"
"Yes the auction said 2, and you purchased only one of them. have a nice day"

Start thinking what weekend we wanna do the september meet. earlier we can set it, more likely we can get people to plan for it. I'm hoping more supra people can come this time
I'm always at work!
By the way, I'm thinking about renting a garage around here. I'd pay for it every month, but if you wanna work on your car there or stow your car a small storage fee (maybe like 80 a month or so) would be great.
Considering I'm looking at paying 600-800 a month and stocking the garage, handle security, it would be a pretty small fee to you.

Actually, I might be able to help you even more with that.
Today I just got done looking up getting my state inspection license . . . and I need a garage to do just that.
Lets do lunch
