*sigh*

now i'm seeing all these clean, nice 7's starting to go for sale around this area.. black one in the paper, another black one talking to a guy, then the white one dansbbb posted about.

i'm stuck with mine.. passenger's power window no longer works, gxl door and fender (although that was my fault ^^;, numerous other problems.. now gotta go for emissions by the end of the month and all of a sudden after 3 months of driving, the cat starts to develop a leak.

i don't mean to bitch
it's just depressing, and i've not been in a good place for the last two months

soooooooooo plans on getting another car are on hold. IF i get another car, it'll be an older sub-$500 car that'll get me around while i do the work i've got planned, and it'll happen after i'm completely moved.

anyone want to lend me ~$5k for the plans i'm making?

so.. scratch everything.

my 7 died today because i was stupid.

running down a road i didn't know off of 40, braked and they didn't catch or something on the dirt road. felt like i was sliding on ice for about 20 seconds before the front ran into a cement slab about 3 1/2 feet tall and 2 1/2 feet wide.

The first thing I did was cry.

AHAGHAHA we got the e6x vert to start finally. Now it wants to idile at 215 so we are working on that tonight. I thinks its so lean it is just hot as hell. LM1 was telling me that my afrs were 45-1. Either it was needing fuel or the LM-1 was meesed up somehow.

Nah, it isn't fixable. I'd need an entire new frontend, the alternator was bent back towards the frontend, and everything else in front of that was basically crushed - the battery is lodged in something and is leaking.

I'm seriously amazed that we didn't get hurt, the 7 moved the cement block back about 4 feet.

It's the death of a car that had little life left. The biggest problem is I have no money to get a new one, which means I lose my job (relies on transportation) and now I'm stuck in Dundalk again until August.

Pick up a beater for cheap, and that should solve the transpo problem

Part it out.

There's a 93 Altima for 1G, could probably steal it for $800...

93 Saturn for 1G as well.

'89 Sentra for $800.

****! 1986 Honda Civic hatch for $300 with a clogged cat. Slam on an aftermarket high flow for like a hundred and you're golden.

hey.. that's what happened to me. hit the brakes and they didn't grab.

i was only going 20-ish mph so i just got some front bumper damage and my fender's bowed out. i'm going to get it aligned this weekend. hopefully nothing's permanently bent.

sorry to hear about your ride.

Well, I've GOT a few whole RX-7s you can just swap parts into.

Or I'll just buy your heap off of you.

Dude. Engine, 4 wheels, brakes, steering... Tis all it needs.

Hell, I'll couple a Briggs & Stratton to a soap box racer and It'd get me to and from work for two weeks... Long enough for me to collect a paycheck and grab a beater... Move up the ladder.

Sure the Civic or Sentra might not be blingin', but it beats the shoe leather express.

I'd put the Civic and Sentra on par with a Mazda Pickup with a rusting out bed and a marginal head gasket... Or a Corolla with the wrong tranny...

They get you to and from. That is all.

Tofu, if you want to buy my heap I'm all for that. I can give you some of the details about where it is, or even show you (I can pay for your gas on the way down here)

Give me a call at four-four-three five-six-two zero-five-eight-nine when you get the chance and we can talk about this.

The car needs a whole new brake setup and a new engine...

I'm going to have to try and collect some rebuilding talent around here that I can buy for a few cases of beer (I only have the money for the rebuild kit if that)

Looks like Jason might have an engine for sale soon.

I'm all for attempting a rebuild. It'll be practice for my buildup.

Where I lack talent, I make up fro it in effort... I dunno if thats a good or bad thing.
