I just got done getting two guys in here to change their tampons (you know who you are), and the last thing I wanna see is another battle started over an exchange of misunderstood words....
When you're in the military on active duty, you do get pay that's forwarded to your account like Akuma said, so it's not like you'd be leaving anyone pennyless... You also get pretty damn good benefits in case of injury or death for you and your loved ones....
I think you would have been better off saying "I changed my mind, since I have a lot of good things going for me now that I wouldn't want to risk being apart from".... That way nobody misreads you...
This is coming from a grandson/nephew of many former and current military family members that have been around the world serving, so if anybody opens their mouth about me not knowing what i'm talking about or being "anti-american", you can shut it while you're ahead... :P
