Errr, if we got strippers, it would be something a bit private. I don't think we would exclude you based on age........

yeah it really sucks he is going to flat, farm, no fun roads country. I'm down for throwing him a party, as long as he gives me my paitball gun back. lol. who wants to head it up? It could be a meet/party. We could go to hooters, and im sure they will be really nice to him, i just dont think they will take there clothes off. OH and today i was watching Dont be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood today, and there is a black S-5 GXL in it. looks nice to.

Hooters sounds good, but like I said, I'd be happy to volunteer my house. We can eat, drink, and stare at the two engines and chassis in my carport..... I just got back from FT Lauderdale this past Friday. I was there for work....wish it was for fun. Reminds me of SoCal. Lots of hot cars and lots of hot girls. Alot of ricers, but I did see two FD's, one stock and one with a crazy lookin' CF hood. Brought back a couple of bottles of nice tequila. Think I'm supposed to go back next month to set up their production enviroment. Funny, I did the work for a drug company, pharmaceuticals, and in their main reception room there's a big sign that says, "We enforce a drug free workplace". WTF???

If they are on Jimdog's car they will not fit yours Bryan, unless you do the GSL-SE conversion, which on your car might be a little hard to do. It would involve changing the strut housing and the entire rearend basically.

Contrary to my previous posts.. there is no ACU-4 autocross in May. The next one is June 19th. There are two autocrosses in Richmond on 5/8 (PM me if anyone wants info on them) and a two day test and tune on may 14-15.. Here is the info for that:

The Beachcombers & the Rat Pack Motorsports (RPM) Corvette Clubs will host two Test & Tune (T&T) sessions at Pungo Airfield (1824 Princess Anne Road) in Virginia Beach. The T&T's will be Saturday May 14th & Sunday May 15th. These sessions are open to the public. Tech & Registration will open at 9 AM. The first car off ASAP, and everyone will run for as many runs as they can squeeze into each day.

The cost is $20.00 for either day, or $30.00 for both days. There is a mandatory Drivers meeting at 10am each day, and cars will need to pass tech. Loaner helmets will be available. There is pre-registration available for each day, and they suggest you pre-register to reserve your spot!

Please visit http://www.beachcomberscorvetteclub.com/BCC_CCD.htm
for more information and to pre-register.

No... The rearend was basically the same as the 12A engine cars. The gear ratio was slightly different (SE has a 4.09, the 12A's have 3.9) and the axles and brakes are different having more traditional studs and lug nuts like most other cars as opposed to the lug bolts, and a more standard 4x4.5" (114.3mm) bolt circle. Bryan's problem is the early cars (78-83) have smaller axle splines. All the laster cars (84-85, including SE's) have larger splines on the axles. This makes it impossible to put the later axles into the early rearend using the early center section. Bryan's car is an 81 if I remember correctly.

This page is ALMOST correct:

http://mazdatrix.com/g5.htm

This one might actually be a little better... more correct:

Correct Calvin. It is an '81. Damn 4x110 pattern...... Talked to Lee's tires and they said I won't be able to get the Toyo's until end of May. Sucks. Guess I'll have to use the bridgestones to the max. Got the new urethane bushings installed. Handles differently, but better. Firmer suspension input and the wheel response is great. Putting on the SS brake lines this weekend with Motul 600.

I have been very pleased with my SS brake lines. I have added a few parts to my car since you saw it last. At least I have some mods to my car now.

If you are thinking of a lightweight flywheel... I have something you might be interested in.

I thought about getting one, but I'd like to have the RB steel wheel, which incorporates the weight right into the flywheel. Good idea though Calvin. What other stuff have you added? I'm thinking about ordering some of the Hawk Black pads from Cobalt, but I've got to buy some tires first.

Looks like I'll be able to make the meet. I don't think we're going to make the race on the 21st. Just a bit too far away, and have alot going on.

Calvin, are you going to be busy tomorrow around noonish? I just saw a pic of the widebody, and would like to come see it. And I haven't talked to you in awhile anyway. Got the SS brake lines on today, man they are nice and firm.

Went out to Barnes and Noble last night by Patrick Henry. I'd say around 250-300 cars were there. Mostly slow turds. Alot of Hondas and mitsubishi's. Not too many fast cars. There were a few turbo'd cars, only a few with any *** behind em. Don't know how often I'll go out there though, the guys are pretty stupid. They fly up and down the parking lot with all those cars, and around 400-500 people. Not too intelligent.

Bryan, I was not around today. Shelby (my daughter, not my car) had her appendix removed late tonite. We spent the entire day in the emergency room. Everything seems ok now. But I am out of the loop for a little while.
