i spent all day putting that stupid pretty REBUILT turbo in my car.. it whines.. meaning ITS CRAP.. i wont be there tonight... i cant believe it...... but then again i can...

Biscuit, that sux. I hate doing stuff like that and finding out. Hope you can take it back to wherever you got it.
We had a pretty good time last night. I think it was 2nd gen night. There was Dale and Bryan in First gens, and Jay in his 3rd gen, and everyone else had 2nd gens. Oh, Cameron had his Miata now that he has relegated his SA22C to track only duty.

Sorry I wasn't there to represent the FBs. Too damn busy these days.
Update: The rats have left! ALL emissions are removed. Check out the custom ACV plate and the SS nuts and bolts. Took me a day to assemble the parts and one evening of ripping, tearing, and grinding to finish the job. It idles waaay better now and doesn't "shudder" upon decel. I promptly took it out to an empty lot for testing. Makes great doughnuts

No fear, we had 2 FB's out there. But Dale has my carb.....bastard. Wanna trade till I get mine Dale? Had fun tho. Can't wait for AIK in Jan '05. I'll be buying (hopefully) an 87 GXL in Feb, but I think I'll be driving the FB to the meets to try to even out the FC ratio, unless someone else wants to drive the FC.

I was someone who was slow to change to fuel injection for all the reasons us old timers used to give. Well..... I have been converted. I look forward to never having a carbed car again. I do wish there was a way to get error codes out of the GSLSE, but when something is wrong you just have the check everything manually.
