Drive to work today was one of the most challenging that I had ever taken (at least to work). It has been about 15 degrees last night, and everything froze. Did I mention I hate winter. My GSLSE handled it fine though.

 

My van is like walking with sneakers on ice. It slides all over the place, talking about power sliding. I just cruise on idle to get out of my neighborhood and use a lot of brake. I don't hit the gas for fear it will get tail happy. Once I am in the main road I am OK.

 

theres a nice sheet of ice right infront of my house i cant wait till my drivers ed car comes down the street and tries to turn into my driveway

 

The building here at work has lost its heat.... how nice. Did I mention I hate winter...

 

My 7 looks sad with all that snow on top of it. Maybe I should start it up.........but the heater doesn't work.............and that leather is C O L D

BTW, made it home safe. And even got my new bag at the airport..........now if US Air would just give my my original bag....that they LOST on the 23rd......bastards.

 

My Daughters GSL has been sitting since before the snow. It has a huge pile of snow on top of it. I wanted to wait until it warmed up before trying to start it. Maybe I will get enthusiastic tonite and try it.

I'm staying off the roads. Going for bugers at the Riverhouse early and then back home to watch DVD's, drink beerz, and do pretty much nothing.

I pretty much did nothing..... I saw a few people over at AIK the other day. I was just making sure that things were ok for our meeting there (it is all set up). I saw Carl Stone and some of his friends from Volvo there. Bobby Smith was there trying some new things to get faster (was running laps in the 25.XXX range). I didn't have time to run, but talked with everyone for a while before I had to leave.

just got back from martinsville

im up for a meet at the hooters on jefferson

unless my car gets done before it ill be in a black mazda3 or my jeep

 

The next meet is at AIK in Portsmouth on the 15th. The February meet is at Hooters on Jefferson. THe possible for March might be Volvo, depending on what Carl can work out.

 

july ill take it, it will give us sum time to make the yard look like a yard and not like a junk yard

 

we started putting on a new roof to the garage yesterday lookin pretty good now

we have to get our dumpster emptied then we will do the inside, paint the floors then hopefully put actual sheet rock or sumthin up
