do know when the club is going to have another meet at jenros im not sure when that event starts up again. and also wanted to know when we are doing another awful arther meets

 

Jenro's starts up when thing start to get warm. We will have some meets there and Bass Pro as soon as the winter gets over....

 

we had one there a couple weeks ago. i think we should have another though, with 8's and 7's.

my car is completely mess up...i cant get it to start
is there anyone who can do a house call and try and get it running again
will pay cash, just dont want to a garage that doesnt know anything about the rotary

 

have you looked at your turbo by taking it off the car?? i have a extra turbo here HOWEVER it needs to be rebuilt...the exhaust blades are trashed this turbo sounds like a pissed off kittycat LOL some of the guys know what it sounds like =P.

can you go into more detail as to why the car wont start? is it flooding? no spark? no fuel ? need more details bud. stock EFI?

stock everything...on 58k miles on it
seals on the turbo are gone and im in the process of buying another one

 

is the motor turning with the starter? does the motor turn freely?

do you know how to test your trailing and leading coil packs?

or do you have spare trailing and leading coil packs for testing? if not i have spare ones of those too.

we tested them with a multimeter and they are fine

car will start up for a few seconds and then idle out

 

for some reason i want to think its a VAC leak...

can you keep the motor running by holding the gas pedal down? or will it still idle down and die that way also?

we had the car so i would idle for a few minutes then kill its self
but after doing alot of test its hard to start..meaning it wont idle
im buying a turbo tomorrow and it should be in in a few days

you mentioned the turbo was not spooling up ??????? was this before you did the exaust work ???

i put a apex gt spec system on it
crap started happening like the car would not run good as in not over 20 mph and it would take a long time for the car to rev up when i had full throtle
stock intake with mas
the turbo is now not spooling up , i think it is shoot there is oil everywhere in the piping
before i did anything to the car like a month ago when i would drive the car and when i would accerlate hard the car would bunny hop at high rpms and the turbo would bunny hop
a few of my friends and people on the fourm are saying its more then likely a VAC leak. i have checked just about everywhere but i cant find it
hopefully it will be the turbo seal is makign the car run like crap and when i replace it everything will go back to the normal,

i have checked the coils both trailing and leading
crank angle sensor
all rubber hoese
changed spark plus
tested alot of the electronis with multimeter
re-grounded the engine to the firewall

 

Just a guess But Ill say Mass air flow. New turbo coming soon

 

Got pointed to this thread and thought I would drop in and say whats up. I live in Hampton Roads, but am new to the boards here. I am in the middle of a search for an FC RX7 (looking to find one somewhere in VA). Looking for a running, not heavily modified RX 5-speed. Want to use as a daily driver/wrench turning car (I just finished a vintage resto and am done with really old cars for now).
