Hey guys , I finally decided to check out Langley's web site to check on when Wacky Wensday was starting , and DAMN its May 9th , 11 days and counting . Do we have any drivers this year ???? Matt and Randy have sold their race car . Rich is still a certain . There was a guy in Va Beach with a V8 under his hood .( dont know his name ) and the other punk who drove like a little girl , and I'm going to be a day to day call until softball is over . We need to get jerry out , and this crazy dude Ramy from northern Va to come out this year.

Hey guys, I need you to keep a look out for a black guy selling a 13BT engine with tranny. I had it on a pallet in front of the house for FedEx to pick up tomorrow. My roomate saw a dark colored dodge van in front of the neighbor's across the street but didn't think anything of it. It may be one of those scrap metal guys, but I'm not sure. It's the motor that Yoshi sold me awhile back. I'd appreciate it if you guys could keep a loot out.

Thanks,

Bryan

Damn Brian, that sucks. I'll keep my ears open.

BTW guys, a friend of mine just called to say that there's a red FD on 64 near Lee Hall, on the side of the road. She called to see if it was me. It's not.

lol i guess what you do, and how its done. and do you enjoy doing it. because i dont really like networking haha and i want to change my major before i take a bunch of networking classes that wont transfer between programs.

any information is better than what i know now which is very little. i know i will need to learn C++ and Java, and thats about it.

What is boils down to is that we solve problems, with code. We design/architect software to make a job easier or collect and display data that allows easy interpretation.
I sit all day long, in front of my comps, surf and write code.... Pick up an intro book on programming or take a programming class at school. That's what I did. But it's really hard to say if you'll like it as a career. At times it can be a high pressure job, all nighters, dealing with clients, etc. I was up til nine last night helping a client fix a module on his production system.

But there's plenty of perks. Good benefits and pay, free software and hardware, most holiday and almost all weekends off.

i like the benefit haha. ive been spending more time on my computer now. right now im learning DOS, so ive been spending alot of time in hte MS prompt and was just looking at C++ since its installed on this computer. I'm at school by the way lol.

i think i will talk to my department head about it, because it sounds liek a fairly interesting career.

Hey guys
Just wanted everyone to know that Rich does some great work on the stuff he works on.
Couple weeks ago he helped me install my Kaaz 2 way differential

And today he came by my place to help get my RX-7 running.

Apparently the 02 sensor was seized in, so we got a tap and chased the threads out of the downpipe

Now the car is up on the trailer headed back to his place for other work to be done

great guy, all I can say is that he knows his stuff, and finishes what he says he is going to finish.
