I used to be a electrical forklift mechanic, so that's where I get my few wrenching skills.
Now I write web based applications on top of BPM( business process management) engines. With four growing kids, I have no free time. Once in a while I'll take the wife out and scare her on the twisties.
LOL, After my first wife got the heck out of my house, thats when I was a motivated Rx enthusiest. I had a silver Rx 2nd gen with blue stripes (many here who know me remember that car). It had a ported 6 port running a full dual exhaust (OMG LOUD) and a DHLA Dellort'o carb amongst many many other mods. It was quick, but it got old so I went turbo. Then I met my fiance and things have been slow since. I have alomost enough parts to finish my TII project (new every thing, when I say everything, I MEAN EVERTHING from brakes, bushings, rotor housings, side housgs, custom manifold {Rich, I need to finish welding it up}, custom built 60-1 BB turbo {I build turbos too}, wheels, etc etc etc. Its all in a huge expensive pile here at work and my garage lol. I'll be getting off my *** soon (I hope).

Pic for those who said I'd never be able to stuff 265 under the fenders without modding them. no clearance issues at all :P and 235 up front.

LOL, get your car done BEFORE you get married again and start makin' kids. Ask Kenny bout that,
. I got interested in 7's after my first wife and I split up. Only took 10 years to actually buy one. Funny how so many 7 owners are engineers.

He just got back from Japan and wants to make it a drift car ?? Now I just need to finish up with the interrior of the convert and get it sold .
Thanks again everyone

Which one did you sell???
Anyway, was Jake there running his Turbo Volvo? He is an RX7 guy..... He has said he was gonna bring his GSLSE, but obviously he didn't..
I am planning on two weeks. I am trying to get tires and If I do, then I will go in two weeks. I have the Hoosiers, but I don't want to drive it over there on them.

I need to get back to the scheme of things and instead of fixing them, stripping them down again. My weakness right now is that I get these old school cars and for some reason I get attached to them. Today for example, I saw a brand new GTI at work, man that is a sweet ride. 2.0 lt turbo, 200 hp of pure fun, I like how that new VW GTI looks and it won't break you. Average price is about $21-23000. I am in need of something newer and A/C. I tired of driving the van, even thought the a/c feels good. Especailly since I have two systems in it.
Screw that! Buy an older WRX or STI. About the same price range, but more power, AWD, and it's a Subaru. I have an 96 Outback, parts are a bit pricey, but I just changed the oil in it for the first time in 6 years.... Runs great!

I love Ann Coulter!!!
The Hankook's are available in exactly the sizes I want, while the Falkens are very close, but not exactly the size I want.

They aren't as good as these:
