Kenny, Renegade has a TII motor in his FB.

Have you checked your coil Ren?

 

VA, I might have original white ones in the house.

Renegade, might have the tach signal on wrong coil??? Or check if your alternator is actually fully charging the car. Tach goes beserk sometimes because of low charging. Another thing is if you run MSDs sometimes it can throw off the tach a little especially if your idleing 750rpm or less.

when im driving i get 13-14 volts

but whats wierd is that when the trailing coil kicks on it revs smoother louder and it shows on the tach

 

try swapping the signal to the other coil or wire both coils to power all the time, should fix the problem. I assume we still talking FB car here?

yea i knew that , but i have no idea what controls the rpm guage on a FB thats why I was asking about the coils . On the Fc there is a RPM line coming out of the FC coils .

That's the original unit I was looking for, but he's asking too much. Thanks for finding that though. Granted, it may be new, but it's discontinued, and after talking to a tuner on here, he doesn't reccommend that EMS anymore, but strongly reccommends going with the Haltech E8, which is around 1300 off ebay with sensors for a brand new one.

I'm planning accordingly to get the E8, as it's more powerful and has more features.

Jerry, He's got an FB, but he has a S5 TII engine in the car. Check your coils ren.....I sounds like they aren't firing. Any timeframe on when you want to pick up this exhaust Jerry?

one of them's rebuilt
the other has no shaft play and from what i can remember spins fine but ill have more details tommorow

BTW, my car is white, but I don't have the headlight buckets or covers. I sold the hood tonite as well. still have interior stuff. Anyone wants to change a dash, let me know, I have a good one and it is out of the car.

Did everyone see how well the RX8's started out in the 24 hours of Daytona? They lead early but had typical new car problems and dropped out from overheating.

 

guys . I may need your hep , I got screwed some time ago , trying to buy a set of T II rotor housing s from a guy on ebay . As of today , Im out $ 400.00 and never heard the seller . After a ton of time I have found his *** . I have started my usual , " raising hell " approach after conacting the mods on the forum . I hope I have proven my loyality and dedication to you guys . But I want you guys to post what ever you feel about me . I am ready to own this guy , but I might need some local help

Well i have her topped off.. But the clutch isn't as it used to be. I think your right one of the cylnders is bad. I'm prob going to have to take her in. I'm not much of a mech, just a comp geek...LOL

 

Get someone to help you bleed the clutch first before you give up on it. It is an easy job.

who is the one with the silver /primer colored fb? calvin... lol i saw you on hampton blvd coming off the base...then i saw a fc black with duck tape on the right side turning light s5 style. looked like a turbo model but cant be for sure. oh iwas out there cause im still job hunting......heh

I trying to give the guys a day or 2 to post and make some kind of comment . Im logged into about 4 different Cal. forums where he visits alot . I have made the 1st attempt. I contacted the forum admin and told hom of my problems and the guy has been removed as a Moderator . This pissed the guy off , well hell read for your self

As the tilte says , HP-Modz has stolen $400.00 froom me and has done everything to avoid me . I just found this site last week and tried to contact a few of the moderators and even the addmin himself . No one had any real ideas on how to handle this . I have sent Hp 2 notices to contact me before I am forced to post on here , but still no reply. This all started when I sent Dominick Abrahamsan AKA Extreeme Illuzzions / HP_modz, and message through ebay asking him if he had a set of Turbo II housings .He replied that he did have a set but wanted $ 200.00 each , so I sent him $400.00 through paypal . After a few days and no word from him , I sent him a few messages that were never returned . After 2 weeks I finally did get an email stating that they were shipped out that day . After another week and still no parts , I sent another email asking for a tracking # but no answer for another week . Then after a bunch of emails , I finally got a reply with a bogus excusse , stating the parts were not shipped out that day like he thought , but here is the tracking # for the new shipment . I checked the ups web site and the # given did not appear . I gave it another day just to see if it would have come up the next day . Still noting . I called UPS and gave them the tracking # and they had no record of this #. I sent yet another Email asking him to recheck the # he gave me . A few days past and still no word . I finally called paypal to put a claim in and I missed it by 1 day , so now Im screwed . I have spoken with him since then with all types of promisses and even got an email with another money currier , but still nothing . After several months of getting nothing . I called information and was given a home # . I called and spoke with him on 2 different occassions and he had no idea why i did not get the parts or my refund . After that he must have moved and got another # . I have keep his web site booked marked for awhile now and just found a lead to this site where look who i found . I hope he will address this matter and handle his business , and I hope you other members will get on him and ask him to step up to the plate . He is also on other forum and I will follow him anywhere I can and post what ever I can .

Any help would be greatly appreciated .
