I think I'm going to go to harbor freight sometime this week and get my own engine stand to put my old engine on so I can take it apart.

 

Planning on coming. Be a good excuse to finish the stereo install. You guys are gonna love my subwoofer box

ok that sounds good. If you need to barrow the stand longer let me know you can have it as long as you need it. I mean i really don't have a use for it at the moment.

 

do you have bolts for it?

did it come with bolts? I was going to get my own so I didn't have to go get bolts...

 

Harbor frieght doesn't sell the stand with bolts. I had some for it but i misplaced them...plus you gotta think what are the changes that the trans bolts for my rx7 are the same as the ones on you corolla. Cas your gunna mount the engine right where the trans is. I mean its a chance they are the same size and pitch but probably not. Basically your gunna need the bolts plus some washers anyways.

 

lame. my transmission bolts from the corolla aren't long enough to go through the stand. I'll have to take them to home depot and get some longer ones with the same thread pattern.

 

gonna try to make it . its been crazy last few months . new house , married , not much time for the car, but would like to have a great burger and show some support

Hey guys idk if i am gunna make it this weekend i have SOOOOOOOO much homework for the 1st week and already some test and quizzes coming up here next week that i gotta study for. We will see what happens i am gunna come home tomorrow morning and if i finish the majority of my homework today ill try to make it up there.

 

Wont be out to this one. Just sold my 10th ae and my engine is still at PFS(another side seal and iron) so hopefully the FD will be back up and running the end of next month since im going to H2O the 25th.

 

So that's 4 people canceled? Lame... I'm still going.

We've definitely had more before.
