Well i guess thats good for them. Im glad i never had to go to them for anything major, it was always minor and i was always on top of them when my car was there. Its funny because they always say they will call me when its done, then when i call to check up on them, they are like "o yeah its done". Im like ok, so where was the phone call?

I cant believe they were in business this long after hearing all their stories.

the techs were great, and marcos sr was a genius....however, we all know why it went to ****....its a shame...

good luck to everyone and their lawsuits, I know the guy with the blue Supra they had for over a year, filed a lawsuit just a few weeks ago and then the rest followed apparently

Agreed. I've heard nothing but bad stuff about these guys. Ask forum member C-Rock about the work they did on his 3-rotor (which is now at another shop). Whether their bad reputation is deserved or not is open to debate, but why bother giving them the benefit of the doubt and taking a chance when you don't have to? There are lots of options out there.

My friend gave them $10,000 in cash to work on his car week before they bounced, they promised him the sky. Cops called him Sat to pick his car up from the shop. He got there to find his car in a million pieces scattered all over the floor. He towed it all away, I think he's still in the bar since sat trying to get over it.

I'm going to goto the court office and file fraud small claims suit. This is &#@$*)*&##&(@#*#&%(@*%)_&@_*)#^)@*#&$)*@%^_@)#*%^_ @*#&%)_@#$&_*!#^%&!#%!@#$@!#($*!)@#$!@#$*Y&#@_!*)@ #!&%_!*)%_!@)*#$&)!*@%^_!@*#%!@_#)*%$^!#@%_!*#$^!| @#%|!|@#%|^&|!#@^|%!^|@#

I think that all of you should just get together and hire one lawyer and file one suit. It would be quicker and will get more money than if you just file individually. The quicker you guys do it the better because he could just close the shop and then it will take forever to get your money back. That's just an idea but i think that it could work if you all stick together.

the shop IS closed.

I hate to say it but Im willing to bet a lawsuit will be useless.
Even if they rule in your favor good luck collecting anything when the guy is broke and will probably doing some kind of cash business not showing any income.

and before I get attacked for saying that- im not saying to do NOTHING, I guess I should just say good luck and hope that something does come from it.

NJ law states that the court can force you to sell your home or any property you own in order to repay personnel or business debt. I spoke with a lawyer and she said do small claims, get the judges decision. Move from there... Unless they leave the USA

But wasnt acosta marcos jr's and sr's shop?

I dont get it. Marcos jr was a good guy and sr was too. But the rest sucked. Very unprofessional and i guess proof shows it, bunch of scammers that ruined a good business. IM sure there was more to this story. I know jr and sr must be really pissed now.

I stand this motion. If you guys got recits, then he has to give you the money back. But you guys needs to get it together before he packs his bags and leaves to DR or PR

sr. was the man!, he needed someone to run the store part of the shop, while he worked the back building, but remember jorge,he started taking days off,so sr. fired him or he left,jr. said jorge was screwing up so had to let him go!(and they were cousins)then sr. told me that he told jr. to beat it after he kept screwing up, but jr. came to help his father sometimes, harold is a long time family friend, and they all miss managed the funds,sr. told me he would close the shop if he couldn't rely on harold,he always thought harold was an idiot, plus sr. blood psi. was to high, he had a minor stoke before,a few months ago i heard jr. wanted to open something of his own! they should have stayed in wallington and kept it small, they did good work on my 7 and i'm glad my car got out before all this,at one time they owed me about $1000 and i just had sr. replace that with free install on the parts i bought. i'm sorry to hear this **** because they tuned my 7.

Yeah jorge was good. He was the young cat with the ported gunmetal colored FD right? Or i think that was marc.

But yeah you're right, they seemed better back in wallington. They were there for a while, alot of people went to them for service. Even people went there just to hang out.

O well. Too late to go back now.
