Glad Rocky, Duc and Jack could make it out today. Rocky put the smack down again and set a blistering fast time. I'm going to have to step up my game next year Weather was great for this late in the year and everyone had some fun with their back tires trying to outrun their fronts That about wraps it up for this season but hopefully we can all meet up for karting or something over the winter!

Yup, I had a most excellent time. It's nice to finally be able to learn how to drive the car like it was meant to be driven. Now I'm itching to take more turns at tire screeching speeds. Thanks for the tips Matt and Rocky and for the pics Jack. (Got any more....maybe of my little incident?)
I've got a video of one of Rocky's runs...the one with the fun ending. Got to figure out how to post though. Maybe I'll just email it to one of you for you to post.

Jack, Duc, Matt, It was great to have you guys out there, thanks for making my day. I hope to see you all at more and from the sounds of things I will.
Duc, I'll post the file on Vimeo if you send it to me, it wasn't the prettiest but kicking the cone through the timing gate to finish it was classic. Oh well, the 41.5 right after it made up for it I only got four of my morning runs on video before the camera ran out of battery, and they were pretty washed out anyway so I doubt I'll post them.
Jack, nice pics. I think I speak for the rest when I say MOAR!!! (you can email some to me and I'll host them if you want)

Duc, I wish I had some of your "excursion!" I do have a bunch more. Took close to 200 that day. Let pick out a few more and post them up. I have them all on facebook and google +. If anybody wants the full file or a compressed JPG just let me know and I will email them to you.

You all should run the NASA-X Mid atlantic events. Bit farther of a drive, but the courses are way better. I did CDC at Harry Grove years ago and it doesnt look like they've found bigger venues yet...
Still it was a good day. We had an auto-x same time...

I may consider coming down for the "ChillyCross" (Jan15) as there will be no conflicting events up here. But, that mostly depends on weather, mechanical state of my car, and vacations.
I don't think I'd make it a habit of attending the events though, I prefer the more social nature of CDC (regardless of the lot size). I saw this on the site "This is a closed gate / private event - random spectators are not allowed - although drivers may invite guests. Passengers are not allowed during timed runs unless they are NASA instructors. " Sounds like you guys take things way too seriously.
