Yep that's me, I typically hit up a Sheetz in Frederick for some grub/gas before I go to the event. It allows me to grab a sub & miscellaneous for lunch as well. If you want to meet up and drive up together I am game.

Yeah the FAQ is quite extensive, if you have any more questions I'll be happy to answer them for you.

As long as it doesn't rain I will be there. Or do the cruise. Either one would be cool. Autocross I could try to get some action shots of people racing. With the cruise I could do the same as we are driving.

 

I would be out there, but my car is done for the year. Hopefully my set up will be completely different and ready by next year. So I can actually compete, and not fight to not be last.

HAHA so would I, his car would be soooo overkill for the size of the lot in Frederick. It is small even by CDC standards.

Show if you can. It would be great to have additional photographers/passengers to be there. The TnT is all about fun!

 

Nice....a few more people. Matt and Rocky - looks like both of you guys are in Heat 1 which from what I understand is the morning group. Would love to be passenger for a few runs if possible...it might help so I don't completely embarrass FD drivers everywhere later on. I'll just blame my slow time on my fear of the car just breaking right there on the track....which is a real fear. Hopefully, all the hard work to finally get it tip-top will pay off.

Starting around 9 they'll do 5 runs for Heat 1, then 5 runs for Heat 2. We'll then break an hour or so for lunch. After that they'll determine how many runs we are going to do in the afternoon and run Heats 1 and 2 again (usually at least another 5).

There will be plenty of runs for you to ride along with us to help you learn the course and feel how different our cars are. Don't worry about your times, for the TnT they aren't published so only those of us that are there will know what you run.

 

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of replies! I haven't really been on the forum all week.

I don't think I'll be able to do the auto-x thing =\ I'm going to need to stay relatively close to Charles County (MIR) tomorrow due to work (I'm kinda on call). I figured the cruise would be doable since it was going to be done earlier in the day =\

Perhaps if something is going on next weekend?

And yeah, I TOTALLY tried to go to that MegaMeet last weekend... after about 15 miles of driving down 29 South from 66 without seeing anything I called it quits and headed home =( It was nice to get out and ride the bike though!

 

Levi...lol...wrong exit...47a is a 234 exit (Manassas), not 29, 29 exit is only in centreville 52/53 or Gainesville!!!

And Auto-X has 2 sessions, early morning and afternoon...you should at least be able to do the morning thing and set the time in those 5 or so runs!

I remember there was a blue Vette, with slick tires that did that...set the fastest time and left...every damn time!!! lol (Ghost)
