I looked and I looked and Racing Beat does not sell any throttle body setup, either as individual components or as a kit.

I personally wouldn't replace a fuel injection system with a carburetor. This is the 21st century. If he is planning to buy an intake manifold and then use some itb's or Weber style throttlebodies, then I hope he has a standalone ecu.

I see that your new here. And most likely new to cars/Rx7s in general.

Start reading and searching here and many other sites. You are asking a basic, yet involved question. That is most likely just going to waste your time.

unless you are planing to change the ecu, a throttle body kit will be very difficult. what have you done to the exhaust? and the car? racing, street, drag? 12a or 13b? itb's are going to be very touchy if you have a brake booster!

give us more info, maybe we can post something helpfull.

at the risk of speaking out of turn, sen2two didn't make any conclusion that you didn't lead him to make by your own hand. you may not be new to cars, but you're not relaying anything to show that in any of your posts. your first post mistakingly directs us to RB, only to find out that it's a "kit" - still unspecified/unclear - that someone had on an FC. on top of that you're asking if you can get more power out of ITBs than you can the stock intake. none of that makes you look like you know as much as you say you. remember, this is a computer screen and keyboard, not conversation over a beer. your audience only knows as much as you type.

also, asking to "let you know how the car changes" and "if they increase power", while the syntax is of a valid question, the content is arguable. you're better off presenting a plan and a goal, then asking if your plan can achieve it. that will provide a more fruitful discussion - not to mention it shows you've given it some thought (and research). i don't think anyone serious about this forum is here to waste time and more often than not will not allow or like someone else to waste time for them.

i would tend to think that in light of seeing what one perceives to be a newbie (outside of the newbie section) telling them to search IS a useful post when dealing with a subject that has a wealth of information already posted.

i'm just trying to point this out to you so you can consider it. i'm not attacking you, so there's no need to take it as such. good luck. if you ask a better question, i'll be first on line to try to help lead you to an answer.
