which injectors for my n/a 13b

my 86 fc has been sputtering under 50% acceleration for a lil bit now. i had one of my local rotards drive it and he said its the secondary injectors are partially stopped up. which makes sense because the previous owner was an older guy and he never got into it in the slightest. but i figure if im going to be changing the injectors anyways, i might as well upgrade them while im in there. heres the parts list.

13b n/a
minor bridgeport
s4 with s5 rotors
45k on the rebuild/bridgeport with carbon apex seals
walbro 255 fuel pump
tomei fuel pressure regulator
2.5" exhaust with only 1 cat converted to single exit exhaust
intake

thats all the parts that are relevant to my question. i was just wondering what size injectors i should go with

Whats your afr while its sputtering?
I assume you can tune fuel since you have a full bridgy
Also what injectors do you have currently?

Secondaries don't turn on until above 3700 rpm stock. It has nothing to do with acceleration. If you're not running the stock computer then you need to look in your ECU tune and determine when and how they turn on. If the injectors were clogged you would see the affect across the entire power band not just at partial throttle by looking at your logs or wideband. Before buying new injectors I'd send your existing ones out to get cleaned and flow tested if you do determine they are the culprit. One might assume that everything was tuned before you bought it and that the injectors were already appropriately sized and cleaning an existing injector is much cheaper than buying a new one.

a bridge sputtering below 50% throttle? no way.. it will be more noticable with a leaner condition though, bridges want a few more AFR points than a stock port to run somewhat smooth, they also like more timing.

with no note of engine management, live with it or spend the money and finish it.

your build is similar to mine, your fine running the stock 460cc injectors, but you need an after market ecu to see anywhere near the full potential of your motor, easiest way with out redoing your wiring harness is apex pfc with banzai racing adaptor, use the stock map sensor your car came with, get a set of series 5 n/a injectors, wire them into your harness, and get it tuned. if your not willing to spend the money than your car wont run right!

though my build was more intense, im running stock 460cc injectors, and my stock fuel pump, putting out 225-230hp, i had a wallbro 255, but was just wasting fuel, n/a motors are bullet proof, unless your just carless, also premix your car will make the motor last 10 times longer!

So I have just been informed that my injectors may be tired, and need to be replaced, and I'm curious about what you said about an aftermarket ecu, could u point me in a relevant direction for a better ecu?
