Injectors
I have a 1987 Mazda rx 7 turboII I have to buy all 4 new fuel injectors because my last ones were messed up. I will upgrade my car after I get the fuel injectors so should I get bigger fuel injectors or should I get the stock 550cc. I bought the car for 500 dollars everything works great, it has 100,000 miles on it, but I need the fuel injectors to see how the engine works I never drove it. So should I spend my money on bigger cc injectors or should I get the stock 500cc for now. Everything is stock on the car except for a upgraded cold air intake. The engine looks in good condition it has a new tune up done to it. Does anyone know were I can get some cheap fuel injectors for my car. Please can anyone help me with my car.

Would you happen to know what the stock injectors on a non- turbo 87 would be. just wondering. and an answer to your question the way i see it is if your trying to go towards the performance direction than bigger is better always get the top of the line part if something breaks so that you dont have to buy a nother set. upgrade it all at once.

How are your stock injectors messed up? If "cheap" is important, you will be far better off having your stock injectors cleaned and tested, than trying to find replacements. You can probably find a shop in Denver that provides the service, or send them off somewhere. Cost should be anywhere from $12 - $25 each, depending on who does the work.

How did you figure out they were "messed up"?
Fuel injectors are almost never "messed up" to the point where you're *required* to replace them with new ones.
Do you know brand new ones from the Mazda dealer are like $300 EACH!
That means all 4 to replace is over $1,000!
Is some mechanic trying to bend you over to make you pay for unnecessary labor charges?
