franken wankel streetport rebuild missfire issue

okay I recently rebuilt my motor (rebuild went fine) and dropped it in the car and I got it running but I'm having some issues, but this is my general setup:

S4 chassis w/ s4 NA electronics
S5 irons large streetport
S4 rotor housings, pineapple racing large streetport
megasquirt 2vb3 to come after its broken in and whenever its assembled.

I keep trying to set the timing but its like its off a tooth, I can get it to run and the lowest idle I can get out of it is around 1500 but it still stalls out

the car has s5 manifolds on it and etc but I'm also using an S5 throttle body and TPS, so I just been using the narrowband signal but the car runs when I have the TPS unplugged, TPS is within spec, did the whole light tester and everything. but as soon as I try and plug it in, it stalls. and when you try to start it, it fires right up then dies.

BAC is installed and functional

when it runs you can hear it missfire.

when messing with the timing Its like there isn't enough retard to make it run smoother, if I could retard the timing more it would sound better.

I keep re stabbing the CAS and checking timing and it seems dead on, when I try to install it either 1 tooth ahead or backwards it doesn't start.

fuel system is not a problem, everything is working fine.

tested cooling system and comp and they came out great.

I have also heard it backfire through the intake maybe 3 or 4 times

I don't hear any vacuum leaks and I haven't found any...
(although it seems like the likely culprit for stalling but it feels like the timing is too off that its too fuel heavy causing it to stall)

I dont see how I could have given it too much overlap with a streetport, maybe I went too far with the port opening timing...

throttle cable is fine

I gotta try an S4 TB with TPS because right now it runs without the TPS plugged in but it wont idle.

should I try adjusting the variable resistor?

it misfires across all rpm not just idle-ish speeds.

but it does sound good, I'll get a video of it soon, you can hear it miss.

help? ideas? suggestions?

stock S4 NA low IMP injectors.

they have been sonic cleaned and balanced and are in excellent shape.

okay I'm gonna try these few things and check it out

adjusting the throttle stop to about 1300 RPM on the TB

but I what about the front cover? I'm premix so I don't need the OMP and I'm using the S5 rotating assembly so I went with the S5 front cover, I have s5 pulley/hub but the electronics probably want s4 im guessing?

I'm gonna try another S5 front main pulley and see if I can align it with the S5 timing alignment pin on the front cover and look the specs up from each series timing and compensate for the difference.

I have also tried putting the CAS in a tooth ahead/behind and adjusting the advance/retard accordingly but it wont start.

I'm gonna try a few things tomorrow and see.

okay cas and pulley system is fine.

but it wont idle because it dies at low speeds and you pull the plugs and they are wet.
