Custom N/A exhaust for my turbo motor

So my 14gauge exhaust pipe turbo manifold eventually failed after about a year and much abuse.
I wanted to go for something more durable, cheap, extremely high performance, easy to build, and hopefully more quiet.
The idea was pretty much mine, but I have to give credit to a fellow fourm member (who may prefer to remain nameless) for all welding work and construction.
Keep in mind that we had less than 3 hours to build this, so we might clean it up a little later and fix a few small leaks here and there.
The runners are 2" and go into a 3" pipe.. the Y pipe is 100% custom as well, engineered for the highest possible flow, greatest effects, and minimal weight.
I can't give you exact measurements on the runner lengths, we have spent too many recourses researching that information to just let it slip out like that.

This manifold may be further customized into a turbo manifold later on, it is very versatile.

Hes having a bit of a laugh, i dont know what setup hes running but for stock or street ports the length is wayyyy to short, the lengths are incredibly far off, the one is almost double the other and the bends are too tight imo. But im sure hes knows its ghetto and is joking around a bit, which chances are everyone got and is really obvious :P

Well, to be honest the project got a little rushed because of my poor planning and there are a few small holes in the Y pipe which me might fix later... so its a little louder than I was hoping for.
In retrospect I think 2" was a little large, it would have been more easy and less noisy to just go with 1.5 or 1.75" runners.
And as far as cheap goes, it cost me about $35, but I did not buy that RB flange.

haha, I've got to give the other fourm member who did the welding credit for thinking of that.

Honestly I don't think they'll be very impressive. That motor sucks as an N/A. Its a s4 t2 block (low comp. rotors, 4 port, ect.)

I might try to tune it a lil more and or spray it.... so I'll update this thread if any dynoing happens.

well, the last turbo manifold was made of 14 gauge exhaust pipe, this should hold up better than that. Also after thinking about the rate I go though turbos, I'll probably just hang on to this manifold for when I'm "in between" turbos.

You know, it doesn't cost more to get non threaded pipe pieces. I mean, you're welding it together anyway.

Just sayin'.

Well, the fact it was threaded saved quite a bit of time on about 4 of the connections.

I am not sure how that makes it any easier, but okay.

Me, I'd have just gone with a stock manifold, they're not that huge of a restriction. It's like having really short runners with a big collector.

What, like my surge tank before I realized there wasn't enough room under the hood for a fuel pump?

PS - I was going to braze all of the threads shut to prevent leaks. I have no luck with NPT connections and fuel.
