Anyone using new Atkins corner seal?

Has anyone used the new solid seals? The older soild side seals seemed to work fine so I wonder if these are better than that? I'm building a large street ported motor w/ lots of goodies but not sure if these are worth getting?

The side seals i have are from atkins rotary. I think they are the same ones thats used in the 3rd gen engine. But I think the corner seal springs that come with it is a hell of a lot better than the stock ones that come in the 6 port motor.

If you can show me how to put pictures from my computer to this site, I can show you them. Ive been having a hard time trying to figure this out.

those are the ones i have. I usually order everything seperate, but I thought that if you just order the kit it will come with those springs, depending on which kit you order.

I've used them in a couple engine's with the 3rd gen. corner-springs. No complaints, but no factual data to back up any benefits. Either way, I'll be using them in my next engine as well.

The idea of the dish in the seal is to transfer less heat to the spring meaning the spring should last a little longer under abuse..

Awesome. So for a daily driver w/ a 75-100 shot of spray this would be the way to go or would the solid "dishless" seals be a wiser choice?

Both seals will be just fine for that amount of NOS you are running and you should not have a problem..

Good cause I have a set of your other solid seals and so far they seem to be very durable! Will be using them with my rebuild.

I heard nothing but good things about the ATkins seals. One thing that I heard is that you have to be careful with the corner seal slot to apex seal clearance. Some come a little tight and you have to check and make your clearances=.002"
