There's a book that describes a twin exhaust for race PP's. It is with no collector. It's a HP Books book. Apparently used by MFR. It's not dependent on lengths. Hard to package if street driven, needs two mufflers. Still loud.

Most exhausts sytems will tune on two lengths or frequencies. They will either utilize the first pulse or the next. The first order is the stronger if you rely on exhaust scavenging, but the second order is also usable. If you do not use either, then the isolated tube is usable and might be the best for your application.
