Talking What EMS and what tuner in Colorado

Hello All

Am planning on going EFI/Turbo with my project car, am doing my homework on what EMS to buy and what tuner to use, like everyone says is not the brand what counts its how good is the tuner with a specific EMS. And knows rotaries.

So the question is,

What tuners are in the area and in what EMS does the shop specialize?

Am located in Colorado Spring but I will travel to Denver for the right shop.

I want to get the tuner involve on the build, any recomentions will be appreciated.

We flew BDC out from Texas the last 3 years or so. We will be looking at a tuning session next spring again. If you are looking for a Colorado tuner I would check with either Import Sports or Precision Import Repair. IMO...Precision Import Repair is the best when it comes to building Rotarys in general. But I had Import Sports take my car to the next level by tuning it with more fuel. They did not touch timing. Sam (owner of import sports) has the fastest import in Colorado and really knows tuning, but my car was his first experience with Rotarys. I would recommend either a Haltech or a Power FC. Just about everyone including me uses a Power FC.

What kind of power did you put down? I didn't know we had any FC's with Haltech's here in Denver!

a very mild 230hp, 240 tq, because my stock turbo won't hold more than 5 lbs of boost past 5k rpm....

but whatever, its good enough for me.

Mikeb, I think I talked to you at a codrift event in greely a while ago(maybe last year)... I drive this car:

Great looking drift FC.

I'd recommend a Haltech E6K or possibly E8 if you have the budget for it, RotorRican. If I can't make it up to that area again anytime soon, I can atleast get you a base map to get the car running and started but I'd have to have the specs on it all.

Nick at Mac autosport in Parker has been very good to me. Tuned my fc with Haltech e6x everything else stock to 280whp 260wtq. They just helped me choose and ordered the new turbo for this car and are very knowledgeable when it comes to tuning.
