I am from Deming N.M. and there ore only like 2 fc's down here 1 fd and a few first gens. But I was just wondering if there is ever any meets in el paso T.X. or las cruces N.M. Thanks

Well my turbo n/a is done and next week it is going to the body shop I also was talking to a 3rd gen owner and we can probly count him in also. His car is going in for a rebuild but he should have it back well before june.

We are organizing the 1st annual New Mexico Rotary BBQ with the help of Tom Huerta owner of Rotary RX tentatively for the end of May, early june. Stay tuned for more info.

 

Hey, at the end of May there's a big race at Arroyo Seco that the Las Cruces RX 7 club will be attending en masse.

I live in Las Cruces and would kill to do anything RX-7 related around here. I just got a FC late last year and I want to get involved in the rotary engine community here.

 

If possable us guys that are closer or able to meet at arroyoseco we should try to get together on one of ther friday night races just for the hell of it and make a few passes with our cars. I'm just getting a little lonely being the only 7 there on friday nights.

 

As much as I wanna do the drags, my car was NOT built for it, so it won't perform too well. When it's up and running, it's running sixteens at best, and that's ported.

I think it would be pretty sick if we could get all of new mexico and west texas to meet up some place like white sands. Us northern boys could ride down together you southern guys could roll up with eachother.

i'm in hell paso as well. there quite a few rotorheads here that i know of. there's the yellow race only rx3 (he also owns a turbo II, a 1st gen, another rx3 and
a rx4), an rx2 under construction, my turbo 1st gen, juan's red turbo 1st gen, and a few others.

even though this is over 3 years old almost, maybe this has given time to plan something!!! lol
