S5 N/A RX7, engine dead, Have $3000 to rebuild

Hi guys, my '89 gxl blew an apex seal a couple months ago and its been sitting ever since. So, I just got $3100 from some jackass who totaled my subaru.

I'm sending my injectors off to rc engineering or witchhunter (around 100 bucks).

Rotary specialists wants $3800 for a mazda reman. installed. And around $4700 for a rebuild (because "99% of the time the engine needs new rotor housings").

Are there any other places that can do a rebuild and 5/6th port for a decent price?
Thanks.

Check http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/

Sure you gotta ship it off, but it may be worth it, and some people on these boards swear by them.

Jin,
Why don't you rebuild it yourself? You'll save yourself a ton of money.

I'm willing to help too, since my rebuild project has been forced into hold until my housing situation stabilizes.

Send it to me. I'll be happy to do it for much, much cheaper. I am in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area. I've got several customers up in the Denver area.
