New to Mountain Forum

Hello Fellow Roto-heads,
This is my first time on this forum, so i wanted to get my feet wet and see who is here. Im located on colorado springs.I have a 94' r1 montego blue, with chrome stock rims. I also have a few turbo dsm's. Hit me back and let me know who is or near the springs area. The rx7 is in the lab being master minded till the spring.....so if you need help or have any problems with yours get back to me.......I know there is not much for RX7 tuners in the springs.....anyway thanks for the space. It's certainly not recommended to go to Synthetic Oil for any Rx7s. There's a lot of discussions on this in the generation forums. Please check those sections for your questions. Here is mostly idle chit chat and looking for local help.

Your questions can easily be answered by checking the 3rd gen forum.

You want to use whatever the previous owner used in that motor, if its a rebuilt motor with ok on it, you can use whatever you want.

Yo! Dudes and dudettes! I registered long ago to read forum info, and now I guess I'll just have to carry on using my email name since I can find no way to change my user name! Anyway, I own an '88 RX-7 with 41,000 origonal miles on it. My father bought it new with ten miles on the OD and I retain all the origonal paperwork and a really cool synthetic leather folder that it all came in. The car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, except for a small dent pass. side front. The car has it's origonal bra, conv. top, and boot. Sure is great fun! Wish I could drive it to Lakewood tomorrow, but too short of a notice. Todd.

I say go synthetic....Mazda just doesn't recommend it since they had a fall out with a oil company that used to sponsor them. Don't remember the company....but if you have any sort of oil leak...it will probably be a bigger leak after using synthetic.

Are there going to be people getting together at the Grocery Warehouse on Powers this weekend? I have a 91 covertible that's running very shaky and need help diagnosing it. Unfortunately I've been told both that I need a rebuild, that I don't need a rebuild, or that it could be a blown exhast gasket. I was hoping someone here could help me out. The car is driveable, just not well. Thanks.
