I have a friend interested in hanging out during some of the tuning sessions to watch Steve at work. When exactly is he flying in, and what is the first day of tuning (sorry if I missed it before, I just skimmed through this thread)? Thanks.

Question Steve's schedule and time slots

Does it look like we are going to run over into Sunday, the 8th? The reason I'm asking is I'm on vacation down home in TrC, NM. I was going to come back to ABQ on Friday, but if we are running into Sunday, I'll take a Sunday slot. That way I can stay on the lake an extra day.

Let me know for sure, as I don't want to blow this opportunity to get my 10AE finally running right with the RE conversion.

I couldn't stand it and came back to town on Saturday, just in case. New plugs, fuel filter, oil change, etc, and I was ready. Fitted in on Sat. afternoon, others lagging or refitting. Almost went lean on 1st 3rd gear pull. Deaf, so Steve is giving me the "get off it" sign, but never took his eyes off the wideband or laptop. We both were satisfied with the run. Steve adjusted the cold start Sun AM, and set it up for when I get the AC going.
I'm happy! There is no more 23 lbs of boost on a JDM RE, but I don't have to worry about popping the motor cuz of lean. Driveability is there, which was my principle issue.
Thanks Steve for a good session. Helpful, knowlegeable, and polite despite the array of organizers, whinners and lag times! Appreciate it.
