Phil, Im shooting for getting within 6 sec of Jake at this next event. This would mean I improved by 1 sec from last time. Honestly I am not sure how close I can get to Jake especially with this being my first season. I did ride with Jake for a run when we were at SMS and he really is a great driver. He gave me some good tips. I have to say that going to the events and just listening to everyones tips really helps and then being able to almost immediately apply them is really helpful.

If you can get within 6 seconds of Jake during your first season and with a mostly unprepped FB, then I'd say you are doing very well. Unfortunately, Jake won't be attending this event.

I'm changing classes to STS so if you'd like to pit your FB against the angry RX-7 register in STR combined =).

R u suggesting that I change my class to STS? or is there a class called STR combined, sorry for the dumb question. I'm confused, and would this new class allow me to do more mods to my car?
Thanks Phil. O yeah also have you ever had a problem with registering for an event? Every time I go to the RGRSCCA website the register link (words in red letters) are black in color and it does not allow me to click the link. I can just register the morning of the event though? right?
Thanks again.

I'll send you a message discussion your options since all the rules can be rather confusing.
I'm not sure why the link is messed up on the website. Here's a link to the registration website. Pre-registration is always encouraged since it make the registration process much easier for the people working timing.

^ Lol! I'm game for a Hooter's meet, considering I suck at gambling. My FC is now insured and registered and has been my daily for a while now. I'm ready for a meet whenever you guys are.

Although I probably should find another car for a daily driver because I'd like to do some body work to it and get rid of that stupid ******* stock TMIC.

If you guys are interested and have the time. We could meet up here in durango and do the Alpine loop (Durango to silverton to Ouray to Ridgeway to teluride to Dolores and then back to Durango) I just did the whole loop on my bike 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. Check out google maps it is an awesome drive. There are breweries in every town too!! It took me about 5 hours on my bike and I took 2 rest stops.

As far as meets goes, I just saw a flyer about Monthly meets at the Twisters in Bernalillo every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Starts @ 5:30pm with no end time. Might be a way to meet some piston people too!

I'm just down with sonic cause i can buy cheap drinks and stuff. Hooters will make me wanna buy a meal which means I have less money for my swap haha. But I'm down for anywhere.

vcs2340, what part of durango is that cruise? It's nice area up there. But yeah, no time or gas money.

And i'm not old enough to gamble. lol

The cruise would start in Durango and go north but then would go in a counter clockwise direction and loop back to durango. The roads are mostly twisty mtn roads.
This would probably be a meet that we would have to plan far in advance, so everyone could go. I just thought I would toss it in the mix as an idea to chew on.

So you have a Montego Blue FD? Nice I have a Montego blue 93.

I really need to find a rear 5 speed diff, or a 5 speed diff flange, and a couple interior pieces.
