so tomorrow i should have a t2 motor. and by the end of the week, i'll be drivin my s5 t2 swap!!
hey, murray, do you need any blue s5 interior? i'm stripin mine down to the shell. anything that can be removed without cuttin is comin off. and most of my interior is good. not mint, or show quality, but could be. let me know.
this shell will be off to the dump, and i'll be holdin on to the stuff in my storage.

PLEASE CAN I GET YOUR TAIL LIGHTS FROM YOU BEFORE YOU SEND IT AWAY and does anyone know if a new o2 sensor could be the cause of my shitty all over the place idle? me and matt have set my idle twice and it stays for a couple days and then starts jumpin all over the damn place...
sorry, man! i've got some s4 lights, though. and some next to mint maroon/ blood red s4 interior.
oh, and the idle thing. i'm pretty sure that an o2 sensor isn't goin to fubar an idle that erraticly. sound to me like you need to check some other electrical to get it to steady out. do you need some freshly rebuilt s4 injectors? well, they're n/a, though.
is the idle revving, then coming back down? like hi-lo-hi-lo back and forth at a consistant pattern? or just random hi-lo revving?

hhhhmmmm....... test the tps and the afm first. move the tps plunger slow and consistantly to check for spikes and opens. same with the afm. move the flapper door slowly. and do checks at full open and full closed. check against the fsm specs.

Have you gotten rid of the rats nest? Have you gotten rid of the emissions? Vac leaks? Have you unplugged your AFM to see if it dies? When is the last time you changed your plugs? Could be a million things. Call me we will hit the shop this weekend er something.

I will be finishing up some detailing on the WRX at the shop tomorrow evening. I guess just gimmie a call and I can at least take a peek. I will be working out of the shop until around 6:00pm.
Did hoggin out those lower bolt holes get er done? For some reason I got it in my head that the spread on the bolts was less on the 7 then the 2, and that I needed to make the depth deeper. I am guessing since no phone call you guys got it? That thing is going to be loud.

the only thing not salvage-able is the dash. it got cracked i more than a few places in the plastic. but visually with everything installed, almost perfect.
mmmm.. i'll post some pics when i get a cam and cam pm you. i'll be going with the black interior with my new s4.

ok. so update on the tiger motor swap.....
so 2:30 rolls around, and i'm at work (napa) and the "Yellow" delivery driver shows up and drops off the motor. strip off the plastic wrap, and find that the engine is chillin on the oil cooler (which is fine, i was planning on using a different one), so that's a little FUBAR..
AND i'm lookin all over the motor pallet for the ecu. none. well s#!*. BUT it came with the harness. which should have been an extra $100. so, not so much in the bad, now that i wont have to use my n/a jobber'd up to make it work harness.
i kinda wish they would have sent the complete samco radiator hoses instead of cutting them.
the turbo shaft has no fore/aft play, just the little bitty wiggle in the bearings radialy.
oh, and it came with a flex plate, not a flywheel. but no biggie. i've got an f1 stage 3 cerametalic 6 puck and aluminum flywheel on the way.

Ransom, hoggin out the holes on that header did the trick. it fit like a charm. it looks bad *** too. we got it all done except for the fuel pump cause we ran out of fuel line and clamps. but it is mounted and workin just not finished. should be runnin by tomorrow night.

little update from my world: i tracked down the man with the title to my FB. told him the situation with how i acquired the car and the situation i was in without the title. Him and i talked for a few minutes and he said he is willing to file for a lost title then have it signed and notarized so he can give it to me
