i need rear calipers for my 5 lug conversion. can anyone help?

 

Damn my coolant buzzer . i have burped it 3 times and everytime it seems to be fine and then it just started going off again. it really only seems to do it when its really cold. but then after it warms up its fine? what to do?

 

Is it pulling coolant from the reservoir effectively? That may be the reason it only does it while cold. I do have a set of rear calipers also shoot me an offer.

im off today and this saturday if anyone wants to meet up. im down either way. i get out of welding at 3 today so ill probably text you or call you later if anyone else is ok with today. looks like i might just buy new front calipers and just rebuild the rears.

 

Update on FMIC Matt? Hood????

 

Matts FMIC is mounted i think all he needs his a new BOV and a few clamps and a coupler or two. i think he orded the BOV already. as for his hood im still doing the body work to it. its gonna take at least one more coat of primer after i finish the filler on it. im hoping to have it done by the end of the week.

 

Race ya to see who gets their hood done first. Mine will be done today. Paint is done on the body just need to finish up the hood. Then the rx2 sits and waits for a celly.

 

haha i would have been done with his hood a about three days after he dropped it off it wasnt for the two vdubs a subie and caprice that are also in the shop. if i dont have to do anymore body filler on it after i prime it tomorrow ill have it painted by the end of the week.

An update to my life: I'm almost done building my house. I only have 3 weeks until I can move in Stupid house
I can't wait to have my new garage and actually have a day off. it's been 10 months since I've had an actual weekend I know you guys always talk about hanging out, but since I've been buisy, I can't hang till all is done. After that,

 

ok so i found a set of front calipers for 20 bucks each. i dont know what kind of condition they are in though. they dont look too bad but im getting the rebuild kit for them anyway. i put the last of the primer on matts hood today so ill just have to sand it one more time to make sure its even then it will be ready for paint. hopefully it will be ready by next tuesday. its so hard to tell though. i want everyone to be able to see it though before the weather gets too bad.

 

Possible serious problems!!! Everytime i hit my brakes my lights flicker... but tonight on my way home when i touched my brakes my whole car almost shut off..

 

so.....I think I am gonna go with the Tanabe GF210 springs. I know they drop low BUT I think I have some sag already with my factory springs and these tanabes with surely close the gap in my wheel wells. Just hope I dont need to roll the fenders.

All reviews have been good and they are 30% stiffer them factory(i am gonna hate that on these GF roads) .

i changed my alternator and everything is fine now.. but why are my head lights and brake lights drawing so much power? they still flicker when i hit my brakes. if i had better grounds would that help

 

Hehehe, I would love to man but I am getting these springs for about 140.00 so ..... 140 vs 1200 is easy to decide upon. Coilovers all in good time Danial son.

 

The only thing I can think of is its that battery you have. I don't think it handles the load of your lights stereo heat etc. Do you not have any grounds? Also you get the reservoir to pull coolant back into the system?


So can anyone guess how long its been since I have driven a Rotary car? It's really pissing me off. Almost enough to sell something off the rx2 to buy my FPR and WideBand so the 7 can live. Or do i buy a fuel cell so the rx2 can live? Hmmmm. The rx2 is rattle can tastic now all sealed up. Still can't get the wheels to hold air so I might have to fix and or get new ones. I hate having 2 projects one of these is going to have to sit for a while.

 

No i have ground i was just thinkin i need some better ones. but im pretty sure the lights and stuff still did that with my full size battery in. but i was thinkin i would get a red top but that braille battery i have still runs a constant 14 volts. is your motor in yet?

No motor is still sitting out. I have been thinking on if I am going to redo the fuelrails for parallel. I have just been dinkin on the rx2 getting the parts and emblems back on. Other then that I am just going to be working and saving money till the new year atleast. I don't think either car is going to be drivable untill after that.

Is anyone here in Great Falls running a MicroTech MT-4 ECU? I need some help tunning mine... Anyone have the adaptor to plug the ECU into the laptop that they want to let me borrow or just help me tune it?

 

are the electrical systems in S4s really that bad? my tail lights dont work for some reason. i checked the fuse and the bulbs and both are fine. i dont know what to do but i NEED tail lights. my brake lights are working fine though.
