I guess this is a PCA event? I wonder if Sagebrush will be doing anything before this date? I'm prepping Beelzebub starting this week. Everything underneath the car is coming out. Hopefully I'll have everything back together, and the car running by the 19th. One month and counting!

This is a Roadrunner Porsche club event.
Here's the details:

Sagebrush usually let's you drive two cars, but I don't think Porsche club does. Price is $30/driver. I can't remember if they have loaner helmets or not, but you'll be required to wear one since they can be quite a bit faster than Sagebrush.

I've been to a few PCA events. The first check on the sheet is Porsche specific, but the remaining checks are applicable to any vehicle. These things are normal maintenance for my car. In addition, before each event, I bleed the brakes and adjust the suspension. Fun stuff!

I only had to fill the tech sheet out once last season at my first PCA event, and my car was never tech inspected. If your car meets these guidelines, it should pass the SCCA tech inspection which happens before each SCCA event.

haha ya PCA doesnt really do tech cars. I like the lot they use. It is pretty flat with not much for you to hit besides a few light poles.

Yeah, it's an old Wal-Mart parking lot so no curbs, and plenty of room for a small course.

One week from today the "unofficial" local autocross season begins! I'm working frantically to get Beelzebub back together. The current setback is lack of parts to reinstall the 6PI system. I might have to throw the intake back on without the 6PI system just to be able to race next week. I'm also waiting on the rest of the parts from Mazdaspeed which were supposed to be here yesterday .

Currently, I've managed to find an LIM with the entire 6PI system. Only problem is that it won't be shipped till Monday .

I understand. Race rubber and lightweight wheels are expensive. We pay over $200 a tire, and they aren't even r-comps! I'll pass the word on to him.

Well I was out there! Thought you guys should know I did us proud. I beat the two 944's that showed up. That was my goal for the day was to beat any 944 that came out.

Only had a few problems. One being really tight slow turns...yay for no power steering. The other was slight understeer in a big sweeper. Could have found a better line if I had more then 3 runs = LAME!

3 runs? That's all? I'm glad my car never came together in time. Would have been an even bigger disappointment to do all that work for 3 runs in a small parking lot.

Congrats on your victory over the 944s!
