How do you tune the M2R since it does not give AFRs?

hey, sorry i didn't see your PM.

What you have to do, IIRC, is program the AFR table based on the fuel your using. Then it will output AFR.
You need a decent wideband gauge, and the AEM gauge won't give a proper reading. At least when i installed my MoTeC the AEM wouldn't work with it.

I used Innovate and it worked well.

I have the M2R with all the options with the Motec dash as well. How would I program the AFR table based on my fuel?

do you have a tuner? or MoTeC dealer?
They would really be the best option to help with that. I sold my 7 a couple years ago, so I'm kinda out of the loop now.

From what i remember, you use one of the AUX inputs for the wideband. You should be able to tell that input to read as AFR. Then you basically have to know the fuel efficiency data for gasoline, and enter those values in that table.

If you're still tuning your car, let's compare notes. I still have my FB with an M2R. I'm looking to swap injectors and a few other things this summer, so let me know if you're still in the game.

I have tuned a few rotaries with the M4 ecu. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm running IGN-1A coils. Do you have a dwell table, or recommendations for setting one up?
