Just curious when my tunning spot will be on sunday?

I hope I will be done by then! Aslo I hope I changed my mind for the last time. Here is a quick pic of the progress so far.

 

Looks good. I can't tell you when your time will exactly be. Getting these cars tuned is basically a wating game. Best thing to do is come early and plan on hanging out with us all day until it's your turn. Every car is different therefore, every car takes different amounts of time to tune

What time should I be there in the morning in case I get the first spot on sunday?

I have about a 5 hour drive to get there so I need to plan acordingly. (spelling)

 

I just updated the list and will post in about 5 minutes. I've got you as #3 on sunday but we start tuning at 10am on sunday.

We're figuring 6 tunes per day so plan on 1-6 on saturday and 7-12 on saturday

 

Steve Kan Tuning Information

Steve Kan will be in St.Louis from June 30th to July 3rd. He'll be tuning on July 1st and 2nd which falls on a saturday and sunday. His rate is $350 for a complete tune which requires a deposit of $200.

6. Brand new Dynopack 3000 w/wideband and boost transducer.

good to see we can still count on us postal service. In other news, i found a huge problem with my cars run ability, MSD. Eric im pretty sure its been the whole problem from the start, i switched everything back to stock last night and whatya know, runs great. Ill explain it all at the tune session. Do you plan on having the trailer queen present, you know for photo opps.

Yes, I'll have my car there. I installed my door bars but I'm not even sure I can get out of the car once I get in. I know I can get in but, I think I'll have a heart attack trying to get out.

 

Jamespond, got your deposit today as well. They stuck yours under the door mat for some reason. What's up with the bubble wrap? You afraid that your check might get damaged?

 

LOL sorry man I brought only the check and was hoping they have envelope at UPS the only thing that come close to it is that bubble wrap ones. I hope it got there in one piece?

 

Sorry I haven't had time to check the thread or pm's sooner. Anyone needing race gas, be sure to bring as much as you need! We happened to have some lying around last time but we don't stock it and you can't count on it.

Also six tunes per day is a LOT. I'm all about it but the only way to pull it off (and still have time to drink beer and watch fireworks) is to make sure that we are tuning cars, not fixing them. Bring your car ready to tune, we will have to be ruthless - if your car is flat out broken you come off the dyno and go to the back of the line. It's the only way to be fair to those who *are* ready to tune.

I completely agree. Everyone needs to make sure their car is mechanically sound so that everything moves as smoothly as possible.

I was told that Steve like to tune on a street for single setup? Is this true?

 

Is anyone going to video?

 

I will be bring my DVD video cam, as well as my digital camera. Although I have no way of hosting the video. I will be also going on vaction with the car right after the tune so I most likly wont be able post anything for at least a week after.



I think ryan (RXtunner/forum owner) is going to try and show but he has his kid that weekend.

 

He can tune either way. If you want to tune yours on the street instead of on the dyno, let me know. Dyno is just for HP figures. We'll be right next to the HWY so plenty of open road is available.

I, along with cowsniper will have cameras taping.

 

It seems like Ryan has his kid everytime we have a RX7 gathering.
