If Eric and Steve are cool with it it might actually be a good idea to have a couple of guys on standby who just want to do pulls. We can keep the dyno busy while Steve is doing baseline maps or at lunch. If you guys want to do this I'll go $65 for baseline pulls if time permits as part of the group rate. Baseline means as many pulls as we need to get the car warmed up and putting down consistent numbers, usually 2-6, with no tuning allowed.

Also I was here 15 hours yesterday with another group just to get THREE CARS tuned, because two of the cars showed up seriously broken. Make sure your car is running right and everything works before you come so you don't end up dropping a lot of $$$ on wasted dyno time!

 

Here's a list of some things that you should check and fix if necessary before coming if you want to get the most out of your dyno time. These are not hypothetical, every one comes from a car that we have put on the dyno and then spent time fixing rather than tuning:

1) Wastegate works and is large enough to control boost.
2) Boost controller
3) No significant fluid leaks
4) All wheel studs on drive wheels intact and not stripped/cross threaded (the dyno bolts to the wheel hubs).
5) MAP sensor or AFM
6) ECU and associated sensors and controls wired properly
7) Plugs, wires, coils, cap and rotor if applicable
8) Fuel pump working and large enough for you application
9) Clutch in good condition - if it ever slips on the street even a little, it WILL slip on the dyno

You should also bring the following:

1) Plenty of race gas if needed
2) Spare plugs, particularly for high-boost applications
3) If you know your gear ratios, at least 3, 4 and final drive it will save time looking them up
4) We gladly accept cash, check or paypal
5) Wireless internet is available at the shop at no charge, if you want to bring a laptop along
6) If you car has wheel locks or "tuner" lug nuts make sure you bring the key.

i would also be interested in tuning. Is steve knoledgeable in terms of the Power Fc? if so that would be a releif because finding someone to successfully tune my car correctly in St. louis has been an issue for a long time now. also, is there a deadline for the downpayment? I am having issues w my car now that possibly seem to be computer related, other than that my car is in good overall shape to tune.

 

Yes, Steve is very fluent with the power fc. He tunes those the most. Sending in a deposit secures your spot. Steve can only tune so many cars. Let me know.

 

Yes, but Mr0pistons was #3 and he sold his car. So wouldn't that bump me up to #3? I should have mentioned that in my last post lol. I was drunk.
Its not like it really matters, but I just find that sorta weird. Unless of course this list is not in the order of tuning.

When and or who, do I need to pay the Dyno fees to. I suspect less than a half hour will be necessary for a good run. I just want to see what a S4-S5 hybrid runs at. It's a S4 block with S5 externals and port matched intakes. Hopefully exhaust mods by then too.

 

I hope everyones car is running in Tip TOP shape and no problems arise cause with 10 people is gonna be CRAMPED! on time.
