Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.

"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

If you want to be added to the list, please let me know asap.

I'm like 95% sure I can't so you might as well open my spot to someone else if they want to jump in or move forward on the list.

Damn, and I just found out i'm going to be in St. Louis this weekend anyway, it would have been perfect for me to get a C16 tune. Perfect timing for my turbo to be in texas getting rebuilt. Damn Damn Damn.

Is it cool if i stop by the shop and at least get to watch some good number get put down?

The image originally posted from google is not correct. Here is the correct google link, but we are not at the Green Arrow, but in the long building on the left (via satellite view):

http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en...3,0.022316&t=k

Please be aware that the Popular Street Bridge is being repaired and causing major backups. Hwy 40 seems to be the best in the mornings, but avoid it after 12 p.m. Hwy 70 East into IL is not good either.

We are located on Route 3 South just off of Hwy 40/70/64/55. Once on Route 3, turn RIGHT at Monsanto, then RIGHT into the OZ parking lot. Cross through that parking lot, through the parking lot of the Penthouse Club, through the gate to BAY 4. Last time we were in BAY 3 (next to each other).

Call 618-874-8003 if you have any questions or need additional directions.

Red face

Would it be possible to have steve guide me through a initial perameters set up on the PFC? So I can start the car up and be safe enough to test drive it and find out any possible problems?

Midnight Madness is going on tommorow night so we'll probably stop by there on the way home from picking up Steve. We won't stay too long but we'll hang out for a bit and watch some races.

I promised Steve some good racing since the first time he was here. We took him to Hall Street. That was a complete disaster (Freak Show).

Anyhow, let me know if you guys want to meet up tommorow night.

Hope this makes sense:

GM 3 BAR MAP Sensor Part Numbers:
16040749 – sensor (71130)
12085502 – connector (71121)

GM 3bar // Function // Rx7 Factory Wiring
A // GRND // Black/Grey
B // MAP SENSOR VOLTS // Greeen/Yellow
C // 5V // Brown/White

PFC MAP Sensor Settings:
scale: 41800
offset: 0

I think this is all I need except a place to buy the connector from. Someone said GM direct ??

There are fridges over there and I'm sure he wouldn't mind you using them. Trust me, people will have coolers !

There is also a convenience store about two minutes away from the shop so you could always wait and pick up your ice when you need it. I have a pump-up weed sprayer at the shop that you can fill with ice water and mist down the IC and intake if you want as long as we don't end up with a lake.

I will make sure that there is beer as planned - BYO food and soft drinks/water (we do have a soda machine and water "on tap" though). Eric are you bringing a grill? Anyone else volunteer?

Smile

IMPORTANT NOTE tell your friends if they are coming!

The parking lot outside the shop is fenced and you enter from the south end of the building. Because there will be hundreds if not thousands of people partying it up outside the fence watching fireworks the building always posts security at the entrance to the fenced lot on fourth of July weekend. Tell them you are here for Tuxedo Park Racing and they will let you in. Call the shop or my cell if you have problems (618) 874-8003, (314) 541-7485 but please don't give them attitude they are there to protect our business and the other businesses in the building.

Thanks!
Steven
