Lupe, what kind of Dyno are they using?

 

It's a Dynopack 3000. Same dyno as I used last time Steve came in town.

 

How do they compare that to a Dynojet?

 

I'm not really sure, we were told (Not by the owner) that they read 5-10% lower than a dynojet but you know how that go's.

 

I hit 503 whp at 23psi

Another RX2 hit 350ish at 15 psi

 

Any motors let go? any problems at all?

 

So I will wait unitill its my turn to put the MAP sensor on ? I guess I will be over there around 11-12 ish.

 

Every car had problems but nobody blew up of course. Steve is the man.

my car made 411rwhp at 15 psi, uncorrected. its heavy though it wieghed 2770lbs with my heavy sub box in.

 

Is that on race gas or pump?

A $300 off the shelf John Deere turbo ... since BDC could only make 380 with it at 20psi on a bridge-port, the dyno MUST have been off.

/sarcasm off - The turbo was Ron's AF61, which again proves the forum-haters wrong.

 

oorx7 made 360rwhp at around 12psi. We were getting 94% duty cycle on his car (750cc/1200cc injectors). so we had to stop since they were top feed injectors.

520's car made 320rwhp? at 12psi, It blew a coolant hose so we called it quit (that was around 1:30am).

gohan's car made 380rwhp@13psi. I was having major issues with the haltech.
For some reason, the E8 was doubling the injector time I programmed into. So I spent some time trying to figure out why it was doing it. (still never got it figure out), so I just programmed it with 1/2 the injector time to compensate for the error. We ended up running out of fuel since his external fuel pump wasn't up to par so we had to stop (that was at 3am in the morning).....

I ended up with 1-1.5 hr sleep while flying back to texas and is working right now. So tired!!!!!!

 

Thank for tuning my car, and helping me with everything. I might have gotten about as much as other people if it was street ported like it was suposed to be. Ha Ha. But at least its a reliable tune, and I had a pretty good time despite all the problems.
