Lots of cars tuned in a grueling two day session. Lots of problems and also lots of resoutions and fixes. I'm sure the majority of the people liked the results and the expert trouble-shooting and fixes.

See me updated signature for my results.

Thanx to all,

Ken

Average cost

So the costs would have been about 180 for dyno time plus the 350-500 odd for Steve's time? Can't believe I couldn't get my FD bought by last weekend...I'm bummed.

Congrats guys on a good weekend. I really wanted to come down and watch but I had other plans. I am really excited to see that the two cars with Howard Coleman motors both got over 500rwhp! That is awesome. Bruce and Seng right? I hope to hit that eventually, I hit 466 before I started having ignition break up when I went out to green bay a month ago. But congrats again and let me know if any of you city guys get a meet together. I sure would like to swing down to meet some of you and more importantly, see your cars!

The weekend went well. No major issues, just little things. It would have been nice to see Ken and Bruce go a little further, but both had boost control issues limiting their runs.

After reading this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/auxiliary-injection-173/703rwhp-34psi-pump-fuel-water-only-injection-863250/

I'm thinking about running 15% straight water and 30psi if my ignition can handle it.

I'd be getting a Aquamist HFS-3 to pump over 1000cc/min of water.

Should get my close to 600rwhp and give Bruce a run for his $$$.

I'm sure Bruce and his buddies would buy the rest of my methanol if I go this route and it works.

ya, I didn't like seeing 30psi spike due to the hose popping off or boost controller not functioning

Yeah we definitely will have everything organized better, on our part for steve, the next time around, minor problems were still a time consuming issue, me and bruce were talking about that, next tuning event we should get all cars inspected first and make sure there ready to run properly a week before hand or when ever you send your deposit, cause mechanical error shouldn't be something Steve has to deal with, and on mine and bruce's behalf the brakes on the dyno will be taken care of and the air/fuel meter filter too. working hard and learning something new to me, i don't mind, but those two days were just mainly to make things easier for tuning, and assisting in anyway possible to make it easier for steve, to do his thing. Not saying it was a bad weekend, but i prefer everything to run smoothly and efficiently, cause my main concern was for my assistance in getting cars on and off and helping get cars tuned. which after all said and done, it was a great weekend, tired as hell from it, but glad all you guys came and everything worked out in the end. brap brap, i love it, but next time we definitely need to be more prepared, and all cars should be ready, like everything functional like, spark plugs, oil, even fan, etc. any possible way where we don't have to stop and fix something, even the cooling part, i'm gonna look into some different type of fans and cooling methods where we don't have to use ice bags, lol hahahaha. oh and if your car needs a quick oil change and tune up, schedule it with us and we'll basically go through it so you won't have to, in the parking lot. a week before the tune, and also make sure you fill up.
