Steve Kan Tuning Information

Steve Kan will be in St.Louis from Feruary 23th to February 26th. He'll be tuning on February 24th and 25th which falls on a saturday and sunday. His rate is $350 for a complete tune which requires a deposit of $200.

Deposits can be sent to my address. I'll hand the deposits over to Steve when he arrives.

Dyno time is $85/Hr

Tuxedo Park Racing is located in the same building as Penthouse Club.

Here is what they will offer us:

1. Two mechanics.
2. We will have access to all of his facilities for the weekend.
3. Intercomp scales will be available for corner weights.
4. A Lift and tools will be available incase a problem were to arise.
5. Fabrication/Machine shop/Welding is available in case it’s needed.
6. Brand new Dynopack 3000 w/wideband and boost transducer.

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.

"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

25- 30 psi with my af66r.

I'm not really sure where it maxes out actually. If i were to guess, i would say somewhere in the 30s. I'm only going to be tuning for 22-23 psi on pump through this brand new 1/2 bridge that should be arriving later this week. I think i'll be close to maxing out my fuel system. (850/1600)

 

Can you give me directions or a link with them? I'll be coming in on 70 from Indy. Thanks

I-70, I-55 or I-64 West to route 3 south, it's the last Illinois exit before the river.

Go through one traffic light then take a right in front of the gas station on "Yellow Brick Road". You will see the "Oz" nightclub on the left, yeah really.

Head toward "Pop's" nightclub, then turn right immediately in front of the "Penthouse Club". Drive north along the building until you get to Bay #4 (there are big "4's" painted on the wall).

Entrance is through the roll-up door. If the door is closed, lift it up and come on in.

Same as above but take I-70/64/55 across the bridge and take your first right, Route 3 south.
