As the title says, There's a Solo (autocross) event August the 28th at GIR that I will be attending. If anyone else wants to go please post in this thread.

 

I will be there, a few of my friends might also come out.

 

Time? Cost?

 

Same as the last one. Registration starts at 8am and ends at 10am. It's $20 for SCCA members and $30 for non-members. Make sure you get there early enough to walk the course. The other guys got there just a little too late to walk and had a pretty hard time getting around their first time.

You can't bring the family with you? This is supposedly the one to attend this year, if you don't attend any other.

 

I wish I could. FC is in a major teardown, the truch would be interesting to watch though. The wife's Kia might be kinda fun, but she needs it tomarrow.

 

If i'm up and feeling ok at 730 and decide to use the $. I'll do it, but I won't have a clue what i'm doing, how to fix what i'm doing wrong, etc.

Also, anyone that's going tomorrow should try to get into the second heat. That way we'll all be running basically one right after the other. Then we can exchange tips, techniques, etc between runs.

 

I went, I raced, got dehydrated and severely sunburned on my face. Too bad none of you people (except rcefstsfecr) got to have any fun with it.

No, I was not there. I was sick all day Sat. and Sunday, when I was planning on leaving Sunday morning I was still not feeling well. I will be around for the next one.

 

The next one is this coming weekend, but I won't be there. I'm leaving for vacation the same day.
