St Louis: Gathering at Washington State Park on October 8th?

Just what it says. There is a nice pavilion there with plenty of parking and bbq pits. The Park is just south of Hillsboro/Desoto on 21.

Thoughts? Interest?
Doesn't matter what you drive, if we do this, invite others, not just RX people.

If I wasn't going to be at Sevenstock that day, I'd be there.

I vote for the weekend after. I'm already off the 15th and 16th for the autox that weekend.

The weekend of the 8th is the only one in Oct that I can commit to. Projects at work screw up all the other weekends.

How about a trip to Haunted Houses after the get-together? If we do it either the 15th or 22nd, I'd be there for sure! Opelbits - at that park would we need to call the parks dept and reserve a pavilion? Most parks you have to do that. I believe there's plenty of paved parking there too, right?

I plan on checking on the need for reservations. And yes, at the pavilion thing I'm thinking of, there is PLENTY of parking, probably enough for 50 cars or so, on asphalt and under the trees.

The only weekend I can make a commitment to is the 8th-9th. Either day, but Sat. preferred. I am working the entire weekend of the 22nd-23rd.

I'll get saturday off then. Even if we're the only ones there, I'll do it.

Ok, who can arrange to attend on Sunday the 9th?

Sundays always seem to be easier for some reason.

How about 2 events, one on Saturday the 8th and one on Sunday the 23rd? Then everybody is happy? Opelbits - you can be in charge of the 8th, and I can plan something for the 23rd?
