St Louis: Gathering at Washington State Park on October 8th?

Ok spoke with tony(opelbits) his computer is down hence no posts. Its still on for the 8th this saturday at washington park south of desoto. Plan on meeting there around 11:30 am, bring somethin. Tonys bringing charcoal and some burgers, but would be nice if people didnt show up empty handed like the last bbq.

Hey- I'm back. Sort of. It only took 5 minutes to get from the forum main page to to here.
Well, hopefully, we will have more than five people show up.
Where: Washington State Park, 15 miles/minutes south of Desoto on Hwy. 21 at the junction with 104. 104 is actually the entrance to the park.
Take 270 or 141 to 21 and head south. Or if you are reading this, print out a map...
When: Oct. 8th (tomorrow), 11am on.
Unfortunately, all of the pavilions were booked up (and have been for a couple of weeks). The Park rangers are using the pavillion I wanted for an 'open house' of some sort.
This means we have to use the regular picnic/bbq sites (first come-first serve kind of thing). I intend on getting down there around 9am. Just look for the 2 foot tall orange traffic cone. There are some nice roads between Desoto and the park, so we don't all have to just sit around all day.
Sorry this isn't more organized, but hey, I'm on vacation and I'm a little behind on my activities of vacation enjoyment. Besides, how hard is it to go for a drive with a destination in mind?
If anyone has questions (or gets lost because they didn't print out a map), my cell # is 314 803 6440.
Oh, and like Mike said, bring something, soda, cookies, cake, slave girls (to do my bidding, of course), whatever. I will have some burgers (10ish, and mighty good), hotdogs (two packs), some potato salad (mustard type), and some chips and salsa. Oh, and I'll have the charcoal.

YAY! Nine people showed up! With food, even. I was so close to winning the "Best RX7" award, until a second RX7 showed up. And then a third
