Repaint your car this winter.

Hey guys its been a while since I've posted and I figured this would be the perfect oppertunity. I own a shop in milwaukee wisconsin Creative Auto Body and every year around this time we run some great deals for paint jobs and custom body work anyone might require. Our work is rated second to none in the city. Most of work revolves around custom candy paint, resprays of original paint, automotive body repair and custom fabrication of anything you might need. I figured this would be a perfect time to post this information since a lot of you are starting to put your cars in storage for the winter around here. Since I own an FD and have done all the work on my own you can rest assured that your car will be in great hands and will recieve the upmost attention to detail and respect from my shop. When we paint we paint the car in and out making sure not to miss a single spot that would cause it to look like a cheap over spary. To the FD community I am running a deal of a starting price of 2500.00 if your car is clean and needs only minimal body work. Body kit installation and molding will only cost 250 more. Your car will be full disassembled in the shop to assure maximum coverage of the body, doors and hatch. If you bring a friend along we will cut the deal down to 2200.00 with or without kit installation for both of you. If you bring us the cars disassembled inside and out we will also drop it to 2200.00 if you bring a friend and both of you do it you can both walk away with a show room finish paint job for 2000.00 Current college student please inquire about an even deeper discount (I'm a college student currently as well so I know how you feel) To recieve the student discount you must provide full proof of your current status in college. I will post pictures of my FD soon again but I have psoted some before in another thread. I will post my most recent respary shortly after today. PM me or call by 1-414-708-8895 for more detials or with any questiosn you might have.

Price on a FC, minimal body work, no kit installation, no need to paint engine bay, and with me buying the paint / clear coat already. Also may have my brother have his car done with a body kit installation (he drives a S14)

yes I will have pics, FC drifter I should have posted it as to the RX-7 community not just FD Sorry if you have the paint and all that 2300 is what I would say if you and your bro come in together and if you disassemble your ride for me before hand I will drop the price to 1900 on your car and 2000 on his if you bring it assembled and you want me to do it on both then 2000 on yours and 2200 on his . Also tell your brother that if he would like t0 do an S15 conversion as well, NA-dreams can gethim the kit for I think it was 2500.00 with side skirts carbon fiber hood, bumper, fenders, and s-15 lights And I will do it for 2200.00.

As far as pictures go I will post high rez pics tonight on this forum.

Alright the whole supply paint thing is pretty funny because I am sure you are not gunna get it as cheap as our shop gets it since we get discounts on our paint but whatever. DriftFC87 if the car is disassembled in and out when it gets here and you supply te paint your looking at 2100.

Paint match a bumper: 250

We use house of color, du pont, OMNI AU, DBC, Transstar eur clear, house of color clear and DU pont Chroma clears for the really showy stuff such as my 7. If you want dupont chroma clear add about 200.00 to the price tag, we use Transtar euro as our standard clear. How many coast of What base coat? base coast only really takes 3-4 coats to cover. Coats of Candy depends on your prefrence on how dark you want it. Coast of clear a minimum of 3, my car now has about 7 hahaha. I am 20 yearsod, the shop has been in the family 15 years now, I've been working there since I was 8. I personally did my entire car myself I will post pictures next.

Pictures of my car and work. When the car is white the car is covered in house of color KO sealer it goes on before the base to make everything one nice even color. I was actally about ot keep the car white too I thought it loosk amazing in white but then went on to paint in cobalt blue. I will most likely repaint her again in a summer or 2 white. I also picked a black and blue color scheme becasue I think it looks awsome. and it matched my interiorless black saloon. We also do lambo doors and a restorationwork of old *** muscle cars. In other words we handle everything there is to handle.

That's hot....almost makes me want to have you do it instead of trying my hand at it How much would it be for just an external job? I'm looking to just go with a little darker of a red and don't need the engine bay done. I'm not a student right now, but I just graduated from UIUC and will be doing grad school next fall...does that count?

Just so everyone is clear engine bay will cost extra since it was not mentioned in the first post. If you want it done and you want me to strip it all out and pout it all back in and have it work just liek it did consdier adding about 1k to the pricetag no matter what. I'm sorry to say that taking all that apart and putting it back together take much more time and hassel then the rest of the car.

I'm not going to knock, but I have a question about the finish. From your pics, I kind of see some orange peel. Can you tell me how smooth the finish is in person. Of course it's hard to tell by pics, but I do see something along those lines.

you can't stop orange peel no matter how you paint unless you dip the car in a bucket of clear, considering that my car has minimal orange peel seeing as how the rest looks almost as smooth as glass. Even a manufactured car like porsche has orange peel. Orange peel is the reason you wet sand and buff. It takes care of all the orange peel and allows it that glass like shine. Like I said I will post more pics of the car by friday after a wet sand and buff. At that point the car shoudl be smoother than a babies behind. seeing as how i use 3 diffrent grits.
