Need a tune?

Well I got my car back. I would like to get it tuned enough to go have fun with it. I am going to St. Louis in March but that is pretty far away. So if anyone knows how or someone who can tune a Apexi Neo then please let me know. I would prefer someone close but might just end up driving somewhere. I was thinking about going to Banzai or PIR in Denver. Just let me know. Thanks Skyler

I hear ya man, I wish I knew of a reputable place near omaha to tune my car with an safc. I'd go to the deal in march but I can't see paying that much to tune an NA rotary for air/fuel

Couldn't you do it yourself with a wideband and maybe a g-tech?

Yeah well a n/a would be alot easier to tune than a turbo. You could probly do that yourself if you got a wideband.

Be careful............. you'd be suprised at the amount of people who blew their motors while waiting on Steve Kan to get here.

Yeah I have a wideband Ive just never tuned a turbo before. I am having alot of problems just getting the boost pressure to stabilize at one level. I have a greddy profec b spec 2. I have got it to stabilize around 4-6lbs and it always wants to go lean up over 4lbs? I plan on getting bigger secondaries very soon. Question is why would it go lean on 4lbs? Could it just be my streetport? I have had the fuel maxed out from 5-8grand and damn near that at 4. I get it so rich at 4 that it boggs out, so i take a few % out and it still likes to go lean. It is really weird as I cant seem to get it to be consistant. Any help would be much appreciated. I posted in the AFC forum but no replies. Thanks

I still need to buy an afc and don't know anything about hooking it up...so yeah a wideband meter...assuming that's what you mean cuz I don't know jack about tuning, is gonna prob cost another few hundred bucks. Might as well go get it tuned if I'm gonna drop 700 bucks on an afc and wideband.

oh yeah, that would be cool...I don't really know too many people in the rx7 forums and community outside of my location but you're one of the few that I do know and remember and wouldn't mind meeting. Didn't you sell your beast though? Wish I could have bought that car....amazing ride.
