MI Looking for help

I want to start by saying I have called the shops in the Midwest and unfortunately, they are swamped or not willing to help. I am making this post because I need to find someone who is an expert with rotaries (not just says they are but can prove they are to a lawyer/judge/etc). In 2021 i towed my 1995 rx7 to a shop to be finished with wiring, setting up the turbo, setting up a new ecu, brake lines, and almost everything besides the engine. Fast forward to early 2023 after many angry phone calls, excuses, saying it's up next to be tuned, waiting for a lift to open up, not responding to emails, and phone calls, not sending pictures or updates of my car, and asking for more money, i decided to pull the plug and get it home as soon as possible. Which was a bigger challenge than I thought would be. This shop offered to bring it to me in person and i agreed. After many weeks of trying to find a good day to have my car dropped off, they set a date and time of April 7th 2023 around 10-11 in the morning. I tried asking if we could find a time I wasnt working but no answer from them, I tried to confirm the day before and the day of if they were still on their way, and no response. I was planning on meeting them at a parking lot close to my house even though they never confirmed (I didn't want them near my house) but before I got there I receive a message on Instagram that my car was dropped off at the parking lot and was left for me to pick up. When I finally arrived I already saw lines dragging on the ground. When I opened the door to my rx7 there were boxing of parts everywhere and plastic interior pieces taken off and the carpet is taken off, damage to parts, and a lot of loose wires from where my new ECU was supposed to be. The ECU was the first part missing that I noticed. I popped the hood and not to my surprise, more parts were damaged and missing and nothing connected, bolts lose, just a complete waste of time and money going to this shop. I ended up contacted my lawyer and asked him what can be done about this and we are now hoping to go after this shop. they have stolen parts, damaged parts, and charged me for work that was never done. This shop did file for bankruptcy which would be an issue if they would have told me in the 14 days but luckily I guess they forgot about me or didn't think to let me know. I found this out from my lawyer and if I'm able to find someone who is an expert we will be in luck. just need a third-party for quotes for parts missing, damages, and how much to finish the car. I am even willing to send the car out of state but I would like to try and find someone closer to home.

Its seriously upsetting to hear stories like this. They're far too common and it's sickening. We have taken in cars in similar and worse shape and have made happy endings of what would otherwise be a Shakespeare story.

If you are interested, we are more than willing to help out. Even if you just need a video chat consultation to evaluate the current state of the car, we can accommodate. We can also finish the car if you're interested in that as well.

Please Google us and check out some of the feedback threads here on the forum and see if you feel we would be a good fit for your needs. If not finishing the car, we would be more than happy to answer whatever questions you have or evaluate the car in its current state and advise what it would take to complete. We're actually here to help

Yes but they did say they were going to drop the car off there at the time of when they did drop it off but they never confirmed it. I tried to ask if they could come any other time with no reply. The shop was Elite Rotary which is no longer around but is now renamed Rotary Parts World. I recommend to everyone to not buy parts from them. Luckily they no longer work on cars (I believe) and only sell parts.

Sal strikes again.

Unfortunately I think you’re gonna be in a long line with the people who’d like to pick his sun-bleached skeleton clean.
