Yeah, we all need to get together and get as many other RX-7s regardless of generation...do a drive and then find a nice empty parking lot for some photo ops and shootin' the ****.

The white FD belongs to a guy named Deion. There was also a red single turbo FD that was crankin' out around 400 hp there...allegedly a "9 second car".

Maybe by late Spring I'll have mine going....I never did hear if Zoomspeed got his up and running again....and I know there were several FCs and a few other FDs that didn't make it to that meet that had talked about it.

Zoomspeed is still down and out. He's already picked up a V8 engine to put in, but he's really busy with school and probably doesn't think it'll be done any time soon.

I might be able to help. Kevin at the Maple Leaf (Motel) Tire shop in Baldwin City bought a 1G RX-7 (GSL?) for the 12a motor to use in his Samurai rock crawler. He already pulled the motor and tranny but most of the other stuff should be there. The 5 speed tranny was bad in it. The body was fine from what I recall. I'm not sure if he has the car any more (probabely) or has the title (probabely has it or can get it) but I'm sure he would let it go cheap. Just call the Maple Leaf Tire and ask for Kevin. He owns it. It would be a nice short trailer haul for you . Small world huh?

The ice storm wasn't so bad for around here . The Buick beater that was outside had the doors frozen shut like most peoples so I got one of my 3G RX-7's out and drove it the 2 miles to work. Toyo Proxy T1S tires aren't so bad in the snow and ice ;/).

my rx7 loves this ice storm. Crazy *** oversteer and everything. Handles great even with allmost bald tires. Still passing everyone on the streets. People need to be less scared and drive a little faster than 15 in a 40.

The ice storm here was fun. We didnt have power for about 24hrs. Other than that it was a good day to make some money.

There was a blue one here in my little town not too long ago that was parked in the street with a 'For Sale - $500' sign in it. Plus the Wichita Eagle newspaper had one for $550 just the other day, the ad said "needs engine work" so that might be perfect for you. Let me check the paper today and I will PM you if it is in there.

RMH67 -

If it's a GSL with rear disk brakes, I might be interested in the rear end and the e-brake cables. Is this an automatic or a 5-spd?

Bob

I'm looking for a rear hatch carpet (red) if it's in very good condition and or a manual gear shift boot also red. Mines faded to that pukey green. BTW..also need the main exhaust convertor, but I think it has to be for a 13b 6-port engine to work.
