I just bought an 89 GTU. Plan to do a twin turbo conversion on it, if possible, and terrorize the town of Atchison with it.

Yeah what you said....

What are the rest of us Kansans up to? I drove my 85 GSLSE in a parade in my home town of Newton month ago. Threw out about 3 pounds of candy to all the kids. I seen a 1st gen at the Newton Wal-mart the other day, but I was in a hurry to go. So I didn't stick around till they were done shopping. Harvey Co tag.
I'm still debating driving my 7 in the Valley Center fall festival parade this Saturday the 25th. Wouldn't it be cool to have a line of 7's in there???

C'on you kansans....don't let this thread die out......

Right now I'm pretty much at the college or at the pharmacy. My turbos are taking a dump so time for a rebuild pretty soon. Wish I had the money right now to just go ahead and go big single.

Dillon's pharmacy, right now we don't have any openings. We've got one girl who's preggers so you might try and come apply in 2-3 months. Anyone know of a good place around here to get my turbo's rebuilt?

Well there's turbo supply in Joplin, but they quoted me 700 bucks to rebuild which isn't bad. What does pettit charge?

HYBRID STOCK TWIN TURBO
Blueprinted, Balanced and Ported. You must provide core. 1995.00

TU-PE-101 HYBRID HIGH-FLOW TWIN TURBO 2395.95
Blueprinted, Balanced and Ported. You must provide core.

All turbo units are blueprinted and balanced to exacting tolerances; each unit is hand radiased and contoured to minimize hot spot cracking. Then a ceramic coating is baked on the hot section. This reduces under hood temperatures and thermal deterioration of under hood components. These are the same units we use in our race car. Subject to core charge or send your unit. Flange cracks over 8 MM can not be repaired.
Hybrid stock turbo unit provides an 8-10% improved flow rate.
Hybrid hi flow turbo unit provides a 15-20% improved flow rate.

These are very well rebuild and high tolerance turbos. Will put up w/ a lot of ****. If u got the money its worth it. Doesnt have the core charges seprately, but they are included in the price.
