that all depends on the wife... budget gets set by here and i know she loves fd's. she even said she would substiute one for a viper. if it were nice. i dont even care if it is base version. actually would prefer red, but the wife would not want to stand out that much i dont think. hell a roller that is in good shape would even be great. you know everything minus motor and tranny. fd's seem to be hovering at a decent price right now.

You stated that nobody here cares about what Steve does with his Subaru, and I simply stated what is quoted above. Also, you stated that certain people on here don't have the money or don't work on their own vehicles, Steve was simply showing that money isn't an issue with things and that he does his own work. It's not about who makes what money here, but when you said that "we" can't afford what you're selling it's a direct attack and of course we'd defend ourselves.
Basically the whole reason this started is that you did what you previous had done - posted up something asking if anyone wanted it and didn't post any more pictures, specs, etc. and wouldn't post a price. How the **** are we supposed to be interested in what you have if you continue to do that? The reason you got called out is because it's something you've done before, not that it was anything new.
The RX-8 isn't a bad platform. I'm not a huge advocate of the car, but I can say it has it's place when compared to a RX-7. Just because it runs about the same as a good FD doesn't mean that people want a FD. The RX-8 is the rotary enthusiast's commuter car, it's not made to be an all-out sports car like the RX-7. Also, it has a TRUE backseat, traction control, ABS, etc. which are things the RX-7's don't have. Not made to be a performance car like the RX-7's were, but like I said, it holds its own place in the rotary world.
I know that I was personally attacking you, it was meant to be. I'm simply stating that finances are a whole other game when you still live with your parents. You can't be talking about having all this money when you are getting free room and board from your parents. The whole "I save so much money why would I move out thing" is what I told people when I lived with my parents in college, but as soon as you do move out on your own you realize that it's a load of ****. Also, buying all these car parts and cars while living at home is irresponsible to me. If you're buying all this stuff just because you have the money and you're living at home still the money should be going to your parents who are the reason you have all that extra money. Even when I lived at home during college I didn't go spending all the money I was saving on car **** because I felt I would just be taking advantage of my parents. I instead used it to buy tools (Automotive Technician) and pay my tuition and books.

Have you never bought something were you had to contact the seller?? Some people hate dealing with dreamers or just people offering with out actually wanting to buy it. That was my case, i deal with people like this so as a precaution i always make it so if you are indeed interested you can contact me. I also only posted 1 picture cause its what i had, Like i said got it sat night took that pic never really worked on the car or saw it till sunday. by that time you guys were already on my ***. so why didn't you just wait till i posted before going all crazy??

Again your assuming im spending ALL my money on this. Do you know my annual income? do you know how much i actually spend on cars? where do i get my money? how much i have saved?? Again i don't want to go into finances because its unrelated to any of this. The argument was the price of the car, and the condition.

i re-read all the posts in this argument. perhapse if i didnt call those rims gay, people wouldnt be mad at me. and i never did say anything about buying that car for 5 grand or any price... all i said was what the nada book value is. then polly pissypant had a melt down. if anything the links he posted only made diegos' car look better. im not going to buy a car for 3000 that has damage or is sporting spray paint when i can have one that might be a couple hundred more that needs a couple hundred dollars less work. if the market demands 3000 for his car then that is what he will get. i mean everyone here knows that.

Honestly i wasn't expecting all this bashing. Last year i saw a 87 with around 140k miles N/a needing engine work. Guy wanted 1500 and when i mentioned this at the last meet everyone said it was a good deal. so why is mine worth 600?

so it had under 85k miles, was single owner, no body damage at all, paint was brand new! and payed 900?? RIGHT... It must of been sold as a quick deal, owner must of been struggling with money or didn't know what he had. either way i doubt it was in the condition i stated.. And no rust? that's a lie too, any car over 5 years old has rust. Also you need to stop trying to put prices on other peoples cars especially when you haven't even looked at it personally. Your just like those trolls online that post offers but never really have the money or intention to buy it.

It's not worth 1.5k IMHO. Brian bought his for 900 bucks in WAY better condition than this one. Oh yeah absolutely no rust either, with a performance motor. I'll give you 650 for it and you can trailer it down to me.

Well you have failed at everything you've tried. You also tried to sell the rx-3 for a ridiculous amount when you didn't want to mess with that. I can find that thread where everyone thought your price was to high.
I think it's funny how you think your doing people a favor or something? Please do us one last favor and leave our thread for stuff that we have going on I.E. meets, updates on cars, what we've been up to. You have also made it clear you don't care about people that you only care about the cars. So why are you here? Just nothing better to do than look stupid on the internet?

well if you actually read any of my wanted to buy threads. you would notice people offer me cars that are 2-3000. am i that retarted that i am going to cut up a car that i pay that much for? if that car you were trying to pawn off was so great then why did you part it out? porbably a good reason that i didnt talk my father into buying it. since he was the one looking at it. i never said anything about your subaru that like 100billion people have the exact same car. and yes i say polly pissypants because you are about to hemorage at the sheer thought that someone other than you has an honest to god opinion. i am sure that if god were here and wanted to sell something you would cry about how much of a rip off he was being. you know... every rotary motor that i have ever had that runs runs and i have never blown any motor in any car i have ever had. and if we are talking about cars that are better then any car you have ever owned... it would have to bee the 92 hyundai excel i had. i put 300,000 miles on it with just me driving it. it never had to have a major service and only needed to be driven. it was the best car i have ever owned. a close second would be the car i bought off of ian. you know the one i cut up. he drove that car to me. i still have that drive train in my newer red car. i have put probably 10K on it since i have had it. it starts in the coldest winters and only has let me down when i have done something wrong to it. but since your taxes are paying my welfare checks now i will be able to get that banged up red fc you showed me!!

Dude again don't even bring out the Rx3. You have absolutley NO experience on it. At least that i know, if you do great... You should know this cars are rare, they aren't no FC. and again the market sets the value. When i bought my car there was only 1 Rx3 that came up for sale. Now there is a flood of them so yeah price dropped so i stop trying to sell it. And if you look there is bunch of dreamers that want a good car for cheap. You would **** you pants on what the rx3 erick posted sold for.

OK guys the ONLY reason I will not delete the last ~100 posts is because when you ******** start talking more **** about this **** talking we can all come back and reread the posts to see who actually said what.
My input on the subject
Blade is 100% correct on compression testing.
Zeke - FCs are going for less/same as FBs (in similar condition). FACT*
Steve - lol, dude just chill out man.
Brian - Sell me the Hobart welder. I may know a guy who can do some fender fixin for ya...
Diego - At this point there isnt much you can say without everyone freaking out more. It would have been alot safer asking people what they thought it was worth. At least then you would have gotten more realistic answers.

You obviously had people interested in it but you didn't post a price. All FS adds need a price posted, plain and simple. The reason we figured you would post high is because of the history with your RX-3.
