Help get my rebuild started... Milwaukee heads*
This is driving me insane! I still can't get my rebuild to fire up after 2 weeks. Yes, it crank/turns over... have spark & fuel, but no go. Tried just about everything on the top of my head, maybe I just forgot something. If anyone can help me get my car running, I'll (key word "running"
) give you my Turbo Tuf cat-back for free & a pair of black leather seats. You'll have to pick it up yourself, of course.

hey there, im from milwaukee too!. Sadly im no rx guru, this is my first rx. Things that come to mind are; is the ecu any good? (im not sure exactly what a bad ecu would do to the car, ,but chances are it may prevent starting). Are u getting spark on all the plugs? are the coils all good? Thats stuff that would come to mind for me. Is it a TII or N/A. If it starts and dies right away, maybe your timing is off, it cant hurt to check. Lemme know. Oh ya, im in Whitefish Bay , where in mil-town are u at?
I've done and checked all of that already. ECU seems fine, I am getting spark on both coil/igniter. I've been adjusting my timing too, but it still won't fire up. This is not my first FC, but this is my first time doing a rebuild. BTW, it's a '89 Turbo II.
Haven't seen or talked with my other local Rotary heads, so I'll have to drag them to my house some time this week. My deadline is June 1st, so I don't have much time left.
I live around the NW part of Milwaukee.

Well, just as expected... the smallest problem made the biggest difference. The alternator wiring harness was broken, there was only one strain of wire hanging on. It was out of view, so I didn't notice at first. I resoldered it, cranked the car and it fired right up. Guess there wasn't enough juice/volts to turn it over fast enough. Ah... It feels good just knowing that I built it.
